  1. Man it is crazy. It's been 4 years since we were even thinking playoffs last. Nov 8th 2018, we're a red hot 6-2 the morning before the ill-fated Steelers game. Cam & Luke blazing, leading the charge. That was the last time we had playoffs in mind. Really hope we can get it done, it's been too damn long. We need something going here.
  2. 20-15 Panthers We are up 20-9 late, Brady has the 4th QT TD, they miss a 2 pt, they get it back before time expires but we luckily stop a Brady GW drive.
  3. Rhule: 39 games, 11 wins Wilks: 10 games, 5 wins Wilks also matched Rhule's best season in like 9 games lol. It did not take much to find better than Rhule. IF we bring Wilks full-time, he needs to have a clear vision for this offense. Needs to get to that next level with how strong the OL appears to be.
  4. Dominant. These videos also show me Alex Anzalone has to be one of the worst starting LBs in the league.
  5. Between Darrisaw (another awesome LT we passed on), Hock, and Jefferson, they have great young talent. Nearing the end of a Cook’s window, but they can definitely make the SB in the current NFC environment. Defense is strong enough.
  6. I agree. Is Russ a particular type of QB that can only work in certain environments? yes. And does he deserve some blame? yes. But then as a HC, it's part of your job to identify that and develop an offense and team that works with that QB. ESPECIALLY given the investment. Hackett was so bad, it's not even funny.
  7. If we win out, I really hope Tepper & Fit don't think it means run this all back, and I doubt they do. We've got to get better, you don't ride on past accomplishments, have to keep building. They don't strike me as going into 2023 content with this entire staff after Wilks has basically stumbled into the remnants. Ran into the cockpit and figured out a decent landing with who was already on board. I'd definitely consider him for HC but would basically mandate if he did to interview and pitch his vision for this team & offense. Need to be ahead of things, I would hate to walk into the offseason content with our squad because we hung onto things in a flailing division. I haven't unseen the Bengals, Ravens, & Steelers games. Those were Wilks-McAdoo ones as much as this Lions win was. We need better than an offense entirely reliant on a running game. Balanced juggernaut approach where either running or pass can win the game.
  8. And there goes arguably one of the worst coaches in NFL history from a pure football standpoint.
  9. If we do end up with Wilks, we absolutely, 100%, need to go all out to find a legit offensive mind to manage that entire side of things. We need a new offensive architecture that works with the OL we've built. Super critical. Game planning, play calling, knows the type of skill players they want and the QB type they need.
  10. I prefer questions that aren’t legit.
  11. Who? Some said he played better early this year, and better being relative as in didn't suck. That's about the best compliments I've ever seen about him. Also, weird comment in general. He didn't call protections and was a very poor communicator with his fellow linemen.
  12. Get Bryce Young in a trade up after Levis and/or Stroud are expectedly hyped up in gym shorts season.
  13. Correcting the OG thread: If the Cards win (not likely), and Saints lose to the Iggles next week (highly likely), next week is for the division.
  14. (edit) I was wrong, thread change LET'S GO Lead us there Brad...
  15. Do note, once the Lions stacked the box, he was able to make plays to put us over. That's a threshold you want to see a QB eclipse. If the running game is setting up the pass, you gotta execute and he did.
  16. Since coming back: 60%+, 850 yards, 4 passing TDs, 2 rushing TDs, 0 turnovers Highly respectable. Would prefer him over most league backups.
  17. 243 first half, 325ish total. Incredible game from the IOL & RBs. Regardless of opponent.
  18. Incremental improvement. But should note PIT's run D is 7th in the league. We have our good matchups and our bad ones.
  19. Was kind of behind him but it was more catchable than not.
  20. Extend Bozeman tomorrow (edit) actually, extend Bozeman yesterday
  21. Ground and Pound babay Never felt this aggressive of a running game since prime Double Trouble.
