  1. Cory Littleton played every game this year and I don't think I ever heard his name called. He's one of the quieter talents I've ever seen at the LB spot for us.
  2. "Moooommmm, get off the phone"
  3. It's the arm, mechanics, & size combo. 6'6 and he can make any NFL pass and has very little issue mechanically or from a progression standpoint. You can't say that for many other dudes after him in the class. Problem is--Similar to Levis in the fact that you watch the actual games, and you just really can't see much with his game. Whether it's because of the guys around him or his lack of intangibles himself. But seems to be a great kid, cancer survivor, and has had some impressive games, though it's just not all there. You would think he could have driven Stanford to more wins if he was that good. I don't know about being ranked THAT highly but teams will prioritize that size & arm combo. That doesn't slip far unless they're statues and he's much more agile than who came before him (Davis Mills)
  4. This draft class kind of blows at the top to be honest. Really don't like many of these guys sans Sko, Mayer, Smith and Ojulari. The DL is really a mixed bag.
  5. Hot take: Bresee is a 2nd round eval. Always dealing with some random injury (not to mention the big ACL one) and he's just really inconsistent. Great penetrator but I do not see a top talent in an entire draft class when I watch that guy.
  6. I swear, if this guy is a rare coaching mind, that grew up as a Panthers fan, and could potentially convince 59 to join his staff, then let's take this gamble. I can't even begin to imagine how that could look. I also imagine he's tight with a few staffs around the league. Notable: He coached with Dan Campbell, Zac Taylor and ZT's father-in-law (Mike Sherman) in Miami. One of the rare guys who survived the Philben regime into Gase's. Then was hired away by Patricia to work in DET with our very own Sean Ryan and also, not to mention Darrell Bevell who's now in Miami. So then Ben is a rare survivor from Patricia's regime because Campbell came into town and was like, hey bud, let's get back to it. So I can see him having connections with us, Cinci, Detroit, and Miami. All pretty up and coming teams with solid staff in place. He could have more connections than it seems for a soon to be 37 y/o. Given his age, he's definitely running around the Taylor/McVay/FedEx Arthur/LeFleur friend group as well.
  7. First bird chirping this Monday it seems. Have to imagine an interview is forthcoming.
  8. He is pretty much, already out and likely, quietly, in rehab.
  9. Getting Richardson without losing our assets would be a nice get. Especially if a strong offensive oriented staff is brought in.
  10. Thanks for adding this midst the Fields chatter. Bears & Cardinals will have a big sell sign sticking over their slots this offseason. They are really the only for sure no-chance at drafting a QB teams here. Wildcards are ATL, DET, SEA, & LVR -- I don't think you can rule any of them out of taking a QB, but also, they don't absolutely NEED to if they're not in love with these guys.
  11. I think that's kind of the fun of it all at this point. Throw out your projections before gym shorts season.
  12. If you check out his interviews and pressers for UF, he comes across as a really steady, level-headed personality. He was never hyper emotional after losses and seemed very down to earth with wanting to analyze and fix his game. And his voice is deep as hell haha. Could be primed to rise, but he definitely has a lot to work out in his game in the pocket.
  13. https://www.sportsbettingdime.com/nfl/offensive-rookie-year-odds/ OROY is looking super close this year, there were a lot of really solid performances, no breakout stars but a few close ones. Pierce was a clear frontrunner as he was at 950 rushing before getting injured those last 4 weeks, but that changed it up. You've got: Garrett Wilson, Kenneth Walker, Chris Olave, Brock Purdy, Christian Watson, Isiah Pacheco, Tyler Allgeier I'd say those 7 all have some arguments. Can confidently say Pickett, Pickens, B Rob, & White won't get it. As much as I dislike ATL, Allgeier really showed some stuff down the stretch, ended up with a 1000 yard season. But think it comes down to Wilson & Walker, I'd give it to Wilson but betting odds are favoring Walker. What Wilson & Olave were able to do with their respective QB situations is impressive. In SEA, I'd just as much give the OROY to the entire rookie unit of Cross, Lucas, & Walker. Abe Lucas ended up being a real find.
  14. Barno also showing up was nice. His athleticism is off the charts, if he puts it together, could be a damage maker.
  15. Coach: Ben Johnson QB: Stroud (trade up) Newly acquired targets: Dalton Kincaid, Rome Odunze, Chase Brown Unexpected Move: We don’t really find a MLB yet after letting Shaq go
  16. He sure as hell has created a fun offense up there. I’m down. Too bad DET had such a poor defense against that Carolina team. They would’ve been dangerous in the playoffs.
  17. The Texans are an awful organization. Them and the Cards make us look like royalty.
  18. Yeah I'm pretty sure Tepper admitted that was an omission from the Rhule search that he wouldn't let happen again. Do wonder if there's anyone helping out of house.
  19. Well you know, that's like a possibility man
  20. Wilks managed a C+/B- Outside of player support, he really didn't show much in respect to game planning or in-game awareness. I can understand players backing him up, he's a good dude, solid ring leader. But these talking heads hyping him is really frustrating. It was nothing special, like at all. I expect to interview Ben Johnson next week. Maybe Harbaugh (Or we've moved on per rumors). Reich sounds to be on the docket. Dark horse: Shane Waldron. Now, if we don't have a contract by Jan 17-20-ish, then I'll be thinking the target is Steichen or Demeco.
  21. This is one that's getting some buzz: Sean Payton & AZ https://www.si.com/nfl/cardinals/news/new-orleans-saints-reportedly-expect-to-hear-from-arizona-cardinals-sean-payton
  22. In order of impact: Shaq Thompson Matt Ioannidis Myles Hartsfield Damien Wilson Pat Elflien Cory Littleton Josh Norman Andre Roberts Keith Taylor Rashard Missing Higgins Michael Jordan
