  1. Classifying him as stupid or not isn't really going to change anything. He obviously wants to look good with this football thing. We will see on his second hire. This premise though is incredibly speculative.
  2. I just don't classify the man as stupid, although I do think when people get THAT successful and live in that level of a wealth bubble, there seems to be a degenerative element in their decision making across the board, not just NFL owners. There's probably some type of study on it. He's not some blind captain hitting every button in the cockpit. But he's obviously making bad decisions.
  3. I think you're reading into Wilks having a bit of Rivera in him and not him having some secured feeling/assurance from Tepp. Tepper may have had a huge miss with Rhule to start his ownership, but to make the final choice on the next coach this early, after just going through that failed experience, with how we're playing, with a guy on that failed staff, would be ridiculously stupid. I don't think he would even think to make that decision this early even if it was an outside hire. Late January is usually and always the time where this happens.
  4. Quentin Johnson, Jordan Addison, & Michael Mayer would be injections we need if we aren't in a spot to draft Young or Stroud. I however think we would place the upside value in Levis or Richardson above that.
  5. Jake Haener looked good yet again in his game against Cam Ward & WSU. He may not be a top prospect, but he has the tools to make his game work in the NFL. Could be a day 2-3 guy that could be an instant backup, eventual starter for the right squad.
  6. McAdoo needs to exito. But I also think it was clear Wilks needs to win the division if he was getting signed on. Disappointing day on his part today. Just flat outcoached and outplayed on the lines. It was too early to say definitively and today really hurt the possibility.
  7. Luckily McAdoo isn't cute, he's more like Randy Quaid in Independence Day
  8. Kevin Kolb, Matt Moore, Tommy Maddox, Matt Flynn. Let's wait a bit longer to see.
  9. Back to the catch, no catch, catch call--If the refs can't make up their mind on a call, then it should obviously just go straight to booth. They should have the option to call a miss on their end and defer to an immediate booth confirmation. I just don't understand why they choose to make it so prone to human error and forcing more stoppage, team challenges, etc.
  10. They just changed the call of a play 4 times in about 20 seconds.
  11. I won't cry conspiracy, but it was pretty clear the league didn't like Cam and didn't want him parading around with a Lombardi.
  12. Still makes my stomach turn how blatant it was. They wanted to tell him "You think you're having fun and trying to run this league? Well, that ain't happening" And then they turn around crying about the slightest bit of contact on their treasured league faces. They didn't want Cam the face of the league and let him get battered and injured into basically retirement.
  13. Someone should really make a collaboration of Cam getting violently pummeled in the head after throws by Denver and then these light BS calls around the league this season. RTP makes no sense.
  14. That was so bad. He throws it as he's getting tackled so the defender cannot stop the tackle. Which is perfectly clean, no helmet. I just don't even understand the penalty anymore. Doesn't matter for the 49ers bc their D is so good.
  15. If we win and the Bucs lose, we could be looking at Pick 19 come next week....
  16. Sounds like Cam Ward wants another year at WSU reading between the lines: https://247sports.com/college/washington-state/Article/WSU-QB-Cameron-Ward-shocked-at-OC-Eric-Morris-departure--200444621/ They have until after the title game but this class may be thinning out!
  17. No but you just said a bunch of completely false things so correcting.
  18. You sure you've got the right guy? Steichen worked his way up in the Chargers org over the period of a 7 year run, eventually becoming their OC and was super talked up how he worked with Herbert. Then Siriano took him to Philly to help build the offense.
  19. I overall quite love that Morgan, Luke, Jake, Gross, & Greg are becoming such an integral part of the franchise from an organizational standpoint. It really is awesome. This is how the team's legacy grows and gains credibility. It was so weird how shut out Rhule made all of it feel. It feels like a family that's come back and a clown demon's shadow has been lifted. Rhule was the Violater, Wilks is Spawn.
  20. Just look at these dudes I'd also like to throw a shoutout to Austin Corbett who has been really damn solid. What a story he is going from on verge of a Cleveland bust to a SB winning RG, and now dredging at RG for us. Ekwonu-Brady-Boze-Corbett-Moton And have these guys mentoring someone like Mays, it's a good situation to be in. FINALLY. For for the love of god find a coach & QB
  21. Rhule riding him on the bench was possibly the worst roster decision in the franchise's history on the OL. Maybe at any spot, anywhere. Pro Bowl, 3+ year Ravens starting Center ready to maul just sitting there.
  22. SIGN HIM LONG TERM FIT. And give him a C patch. This is a MAN. This man deserves so much credit for the team's recent performance. Protections calls, helping out whoever's in at QB, mauling interiors, infusing life and character into the unit.
