  1. I find the Ravens vacancy more interesting than Lamar's destination. They don't have a ton of picks after having a crap ton last year (11 rookie 22' class) Do they become a sleeper team to get Levis if he falls? I do think a squad takes a gamble on Hooker in the late first. Clubs are higher on him than the online peeps.
  2. Watch him technically stay in Maryland. Could be playing at FedEx field soon.
  3. People keep saying Stroud had better weapons--in 2022, yes but 2021 Young had Metchie & Jameson Williams. Two potential studs who just haven't been healthy in the NFL yet. Godspeed to Metchie coming back from cancer treatment this year. And the interesting thing is that his stats still held true when the studs left. He managed very identical numbers 2021 to 2022, Y/A (8.9 to 8.8) and AY/Y (10.0 to 9.9). Rating 167.5 to 163.2. 66.9% to 64.5% completion rates. TDs and yards were down but it was off of 3 less games so it's really close. He also took plenty of big hits in the pocket and got right up. His only injury in college was due to a weird angle he got tackled at that strained his shoulder. Stroud had more variance year to year which is indicative of the WRs on the team having a greater effect on him, but I mean, it was the best WR room in CFB so of course they'll have an effect. However after Wilson & Olave left, S-N was out all season, it was just MH Jr. & Egbuka. Yeah, still better supporting cast, but 2021 was supremely better. His completion rates were still higher than Bryce and what's even more impressive is that his avg y/a were around an entire yard higher than Young. CJ is damn accurate. The short: They're both damn good
  4. I think Isaiah McGuire is being severely underrated. He's got the frame and build to be an all-around edge defender. 6'4 268, 4.76 40, has really good potential at run-d but just needs to get coached up. Has a great blend of traits and a relentless motor. He always seems to be pushing back the defender. Strong burst and knockbacks. Just quick at the first move. Needs to work on his counters and bend but I think he'd be a really nice 4th round option.
  5. Adebawore's size may raise questions for exactly where he goes but that dude balls out. Him & Felix are really promising.
  6. I love the white helmet idea as the new primary scheme. Think that with all black elsewhere & blue as accent could be pretty boss. No silver or light grays anymore. The primary unis: White helmet, black shirt, black pants (home, weather permitting) White helmet, black shirt, white pants (home primary) White helmet, white shirt, black pants (away primary) Alts: The all-black look The blue primary look (lesser used)
  7. I definitely think Fitterer has some great qualities as GM. I remember hints last year he was more involved since Rhule was on the hot seat. And behold, we reworked the OL and got it squared away for the first time since double trouble. Like anyone, he's had misses (Ian Thomas, Corral trade capital, etc.), but he definitely has an eye and whatever they've done, the contracts/negotiations have been nicely structured this offseason. A good blend of enough of a gamble, but no detrimental overpays. We are officially in a healthy cap situation with it only opening up more for great opportunities to put studs around Bryce or CJ. It feels like we've got a ways to climb, but we're climbing, no longer falling.
  8. Both Bryce & CJ are just smooth in their own ways. Finesse, cool calm & collected, and they just know how to lead the ball down field. I honestly feel better about BOTH of them compared to any prospect in a while. Funny thing is this is the time when things get more under the microscope and you tend to see all the potential issues. Happened in evals for guys like Herbert, Tua, Pickett, with many wanting us to stay far away. I've got none of that with these two. The more I look, the more I like. They are sniper rifles relative to Levis' sawed-off shotgun.
  9. Things are gonna feel so different this year. Ushering in a completely new era. Every skill spot has a new guy and it’s not even draft time. New unis forthcoming. New staff. So fresh so clean
  10. Perfect time, get options from a few firms. Keep it simple. Don’t go full Jacksonville, just touch ups.
  11. For the base looks, I think Chinn may honestly be fine at S. He’s a unique guy but don’t thing we need to run him away entirely from S especially when we have Cover 1 deployed, he’s pretty ideal for the robber assignments coming ip to the box from deep. Thing is you want to Disguise that and playing him perceived back could be a tell. The short being, there may be times we just should play him deep to keep offenses guessing. He’ll be that big nickel a good majority of the time otherwise. Luvu can rotate in and outside, think they even mentioned that. That’s where I think AA from NW comes in as a perfect fit (would be @39) for the other true EDGE that can rush and run defend.
  12. The more I'm force-diving on Young, the more I really like. If he is an exception to the norm re:size, you could really get someone special. I just feel all around soundness to him. Mentally, maturity, game, he plays as smooth as butter. Honestly, both of them have the mentality I like in QBs. More chill, even keel demeanor with the helmet off, but attractors/people magnets. They just seem grounded and ahead of where so many are from a maturity standpoint. Some of the best have been just that. Stroud is definitely more on the religious side, but to each their own.
  13. First play here is reminiscent of Stroud to MH Jr
  14. There's some promising ones. I think Sam LaPorta could end up being the best TE to come out of the class. Luke Schoonmaker, Tyler Kraft, & Josh Whyle would all be upgrades over Thomas and be potential future starters. Reich has deployed multiple TEs, even when the Eagles had Ertz (w/Burton). Could definitely see this happening in R3-5.
  15. I'd suggest looking at: BJ Ojulari Ade Adebawore Felix Anudike-Uzomah Drew Sanders
  16. Both are opportunities for a staff with job security but no future at the position to mold.
  17. You're either a fan or not. You can like both, you can like one, you can like none. It is what it is.
  18. I heard from a bird there he is a topic of heavy conversation but there's no consensus. And some aren't fans. That being said, therein lies the interest and intent to study him hard.
  19. It's like watching a guy slice the irons at a range but gets better as he moves up. He's all woods, no irons (yet)
  20. That's my biggest takeaway. The microscope is now on, no awful OL to work behind. He just doesn't seem to be able to say, hey, I'm putting this right there. Even on the short ones. That being said, you can learn to control the traits.
  21. If someone can help correct the short stuff and get his mind & arm in sync, could be a similar outcome. The tools are apparent. The man is built for the game.
  22. I'm just live chatting, yep, they're back in there getting all handsy
