  1. Hard no to move up that far but I do think it would make sense to monitor a few specific guys like Zay Flowers, Dalton Kincaid, Michael Mayer, & Jordan Addison. If any of those 4 guys slip past NYG and DAL, I think Buffalo and/or Cincy become the highest potential trade-up targets we should think of calling. Late 20s. Buuut with us not having a 1st next year...I'd think a 2023 4th could be the highest chip you throw in with 39, how far that gets us...realistically is only a few spots. There is a big slip after Hyatt & Downs in the WR department to the next tier so I think those are the 2 to monitor the most once the round turns. I'd rather ensure a good receiver here and target a TE like LaPorta/Schoonmaker/Kraft after. Lots of possibilities.
  2. Yep, not at all, fair assumption it could be 2. Interesting dynamic having two you like that much but no apparent frontrunner. Pro days are going to be funnn
  3. If anything, it gives us the liberty to look for a second promising guy as a backup. The idea is finding a guy who can win when #1 goes down. We don't need a bridge, we need a capable backup. So, if we're not paying top backup prices like Miami and Atl just did, and if we're considering the Drew Locks of the world, might as well take a late shot at a Haener or Tune in the 5th-6th. Could only benefit at this point.
  4. Yep, I presume they know exactly who they want. I mean, big picture, that's exactly what Scott said. If they move to 1, it's because they have the conviction they found their guy. Being first, we can just f*ck with everyone now. Many in the media cannot see the forest for the trees; or well, it's inherent not to and garner more speculation and story.
  5. Correct. Hardman is in fact, not good. Chark is good, but tends to get injured every time he's on the field. Slayton is the guy I think makes a lot of sense. Would be a consistent presence that you need around a bunch of unknowns.
  6. I do think we re-sign. But come April, Tyjae Spears please. Pretty please.
  7. The FA RB market is solid and the draft is a very good crop. So many possibilities
  8. Yeah might as well target Drew Lock or Andy Dalton at this point for a few mil per.
  9. I’m beginning to see we just need to wish the opposite of your cheerleading
  10. Dre'Mont Jones is a pretty solid fit in SEA.
  11. So increased cap through the DJ trade and Shaq restructure, honestly, no need to cut Elf so he and Mays are depth. Re-signed Boze. Signed Bell & Tuttle but wasn't a ton. Realistically, we may still have north of $23ish mil to work with.
  12. This draft is about to be 2 QBs, 3 WRs, & 1 TE
  13. I would personally love to bring back Heinicke. He played admirably when needed to for DC, can push the ball downfield, & most importantly won. That's what you want.
  14. Slayton or Campbell are kind of the only half decent option (Lazard is likely following AR to NYJ) Best case is something like trading for Courtland Sutton, landing Slayton, drafting Downs/Hyatt, and a later dude like Tyler Scott/Reed/Wilson/etc. Match that up with TMJ, Shenault, & Shi, one or two is bound to click. Maybe a guy like Haynes is the right trade piece to consider for landing a proven commodity?
  15. TMJ/Shi and Hubbard deep at offensive skill positions. Any minute now...lol
  16. Good. Much less heartburn when he's gone up to kick em' than Pin
  17. Yup. Chi town has plenty to spend. That's a big one for them.
  18. Well we signed a linemen to start things off and are in hour 4 of the FA, let's see what happens. Plenty of road ahead. The house hasn't even landed on the witch yet.
  19. In recent years, the best FA successes are on the DL and DB. I like where our priorities are beginning.
  20. I think Jordan Rodrigue hit it on the head about him filling the Ramsay type role. A bit different than the buffalo nickel which has historically come out of the base 4-3. Being a base 3-4, it's a similar role that floats all over sub dependent with some differences. https://theathletic.com/2784000/2021/08/27/cornerback-jalen-ramsey-is-the-rams-star-a-position-that-can-evolve-as-he-does-too/
