Mr. Tepper’s dream came true…. He made the Pat McAfee Show….

Robert Mays and Mike Tice’s son still have the best pod out there -
Mr. Tepper’s dream came true…. He made the Pat McAfee Show….

They definitely don’t have a smooth podcast cadence. A lot of interrupting and obnoxiousness. More on the PFT/Big Kat side of things than The Athletic. -

That clip was more entertaining than any game so far hehe -
Reich handing over playcalling to Brown
Bear Hands replied to UNCrules2187's topic in Carolina Panthers
Only took 6 games into his regime to change it up. We all wanted it to happen but that’s still just wild it took roughly ~1/3rd of the season for it to all go bonkers. -
Brian Burns statline: 2 tackles, 0 sacks
Bear Hands replied to Sean Payton's Vicodin's topic in Carolina Panthers
He was very ineffective today. Can't have too many of those in a contract year. -
I’d also like to point out—that it’s not hard to find stuff to talk about besides (a)moaning about a message board’s quality & (b)complain and bemoan about other posters Get over it and talk football. The “I miss the old days” stuff is no different than those who always think SNL was better 15+ years ago. Embrace it all, the bad, the good, and enjoy your time here. We’ve got a sh*t team. Yeeeah. Thx

"Respectable effort in blowout loss" "Best 3 score loss in league history"

We look better than Denver. I'd say we're proving we may only be like the 2nd to 3rd worst team in the league. +improvement

Moton and Bozeman have both been a bit inconsistent today. Team is keeping this close but the Miami offense is on the verge of exploding.

He makes plays when we put him in a receiving role. Had some nice moments last year. Feel like we should just commit and see what he's made of.

Albert Breer on Reich, Tepper, Fitterer and Ben Johnson
Bear Hands replied to Mr. Scot's topic in Carolina Panthers
JR and now Tepper just can't seem to get the coaching hires right. Capers - Mid-aged Steelers DC Seifert - HC, Elder Lifer who took over Walsh, won a SB in a good system w/Montana Fox - Mid-aged Giants DC Rivera - Mid-aged Chargers/Bears DC Rhule - Overhyped College Coach Reich - HC, Elder lifer who won a SB in a good system as an OC -- Unreal we've never tried a younger offensive guy from the NFL. Waldron, B Johnson, Frank Smith, there's more out there Dave. Need to take a shot at some point. -
Jayden Daniels and Michael Penix are both looking really interesting. Liked them last year, and they’re both still showing up.

Some random ideas: Bills <-> Donte Jackson seems like it could be a potential match. Bills aren't looking to ditch players so that would be a draft pick. A 4th would be my guess to help their ailing secondary. I can see a 6th/7th being had for TMJ. Could send him to Dallas. Chinn is a bit trickier for me. I think his value is still higher than some think, but I don't see an ideal candidate. Would want a player in return for him. The target I would be all over who's proving some people wrong this year is Gabe Davis (contract year). Only problem is because of his play and lack of depth, I don't see the Bills dishing him in a SB contending season. I do think Gannon could use him in AZ and they have Marquise Brown. That could be something to watch. If they're looking for someone to grow with Bryce, the pool of who we could pull is kind of limited. Davis, Higgins, Pittman, etc. Maybe just chill and sit back. And especially don't trade with the Broncos.

Let's play "I could be a better GM than Scott Fitterer"
Bear Hands replied to NAS's topic in Carolina Panthers
Re-signing Donte Jackson is an overlooked one that had a trickle effect with positional allocation. So that’s mine. Could’ve pulled back Reddick or invested sooner on offense. -
Panthers going after Christian Watson
Bear Hands replied to TheSpecialJuan's topic in Carolina Panthers
This week just continues to be hell-a interesting -
Ben J and this guy will be hyped but Shane Waldron is one to not discount up in Seattle. First things first, we have at least 8-10 more games to go with our current Frank

Dillon is nearing the end of his "show me something" period in GB

Dorian Williams is going to blossom methinks—they’re in decent shape although Milano is a huge loss. They got a really good LB from Tulane. Him and Spears were the two that were responsible for beating Caleb and USC in last years bowl game. And Pratt. Love me some Michael Pratt

You can’t change anything mentioned in the premise of the OP. So the question becomes if can he handle the ride that is the Carolina Panthers? That pressure will only mount the more we lose
-
That is a reasonable time frame. He may have a rocky road ahead, but I'm unsure what we're working with. We need to see a greater sample size. If this continues, I imagine people will be itching to draft mid-round insurance, like Cameron Ward for example, but gotta see what unfolds with the kid who we took to be the franchise.

It would be one thing to be patient about new guys, but half of his 2022 draft class is already off the team. That is a very bad sign. And two of those picks took 4 picks to get. That's right, 8 picks used to wind up with only 3 guys currently on the roster in less than 2 seasons. And the two trade ups (Corral and Smith) are the ones that were cut. That's just wild to have that much focus to trade up for a specific guy and he flat out doesn't make it more than 1 full season rostered. Fitterer seems to be a knowledgeable guy, pretty even keel, knows who he is and how he likes to operate, but he's just not picking the right guys or making the right moves.
