The more I'm force-diving on Young, the more I really like. If he is an exception to the norm re:size, you could really get someone special. I just feel all around soundness to him. Mentally, maturity, game, he plays as smooth as butter. Honestly, both of them have the mentality I like in QBs. More chill, even keel demeanor with the helmet off, but attractors/people magnets. They just seem grounded and ahead of where so many are from a maturity standpoint. Some of the best have been just that. Stroud is definitely more on the religious side, but to each their own.

First play here is reminiscent of Stroud to MH Jr

There's some promising ones. I think Sam LaPorta could end up being the best TE to come out of the class. Luke Schoonmaker, Tyler Kraft, & Josh Whyle would all be upgrades over Thomas and be potential future starters. Reich has deployed multiple TEs, even when the Eagles had Ertz (w/Burton). Could definitely see this happening in R3-5.

I'd suggest looking at: BJ Ojulari Ade Adebawore Felix Anudike-Uzomah Drew Sanders
-
Well this has been fun

Both are opportunities for a staff with job security but no future at the position to mold.
-
I heard from a bird there he is a topic of heavy conversation but there's no consensus. And some aren't fans. That being said, therein lies the interest and intent to study him hard.

It's like watching a guy slice the irons at a range but gets better as he moves up. He's all woods, no irons (yet)
-
That's my biggest takeaway. The microscope is now on, no awful OL to work behind. He just doesn't seem to be able to say, hey, I'm putting this right there. Even on the short ones. That being said, you can learn to control the traits.

Splooging a bazooka.
-
If someone can help correct the short stuff and get his mind & arm in sync, could be a similar outcome. The tools are apparent. The man is built for the game.

I'm just live chatting, yep, they're back in there getting all handsy

Deep balls were a A, short and intermediates were a C. A lot more misses than you'd like to see. Out routes and overs were simply not accurate and very inconsistent placement wise. That's without an opposing defense in your face.
-
McCown & Reich quick hug and walk away, no chatter with the staff.
-
Wobbly today.
-
It is what it is. It's clear he does not have as much control or finese. Tools wise are great. Okay, some beautiful deep ones now.
-
Back on track to end the redzone drills. 2 nice throws.
-
Oh my lord...that footwork and throw was hideous. I may have to turn this off. He is really hurting
-
This is rough as hell right now
-
OUCH. Two more inaccurate after the field swap.
-
Deeper one started, 2 more inaccurate. Sail miss deep. Then behind and outside on the next.
-
Alright, back on track again with the deep routes
-
ANOTHER poorly placed out route. And then a really bad short one to the left, way high on a 12 yarder.
-
Yikes really bad miss there (out route) edit..but back on track
