  1. In thinking BPA. My assumption in checking out the guys is that Zay Flowers & Dalton Kincaid are first rounders. I want them badly, but it will be difficult to actually happen. It's a long shot, but could see Jordan Addison slip through the cracks if teams went cold after the combine. One guy that could slip to us (more realistic than JA) with stud potentially written all over him is BJ Ojulari (EDGE) outta LSU. He's one of my favorite defensive players this draft. There's 2 Kansas State guys I quite like in Felix Anudike-Uzomah (EDGE) & JuJu Brents (CB). Felix has amazing burst and bend. JuJu is mad athletic, but good discipline for the position. Adebawore (EDGE) from Northwestern has been a favorite of mine. He's kind of in a spot where some view him as a multi-tech 4-3, others think he could pull of 3-4 EDGE. I think he's perfect for the modern NFL. Great all-around player. Cam Smith & Emmanuel Forbes (CB) could be there and I find to some just getting lost in the above-average CB crowd that's mid/late 1st level but there's just a decent chunk of guys. I also don't think Sam LaPorta would be a reach. He could be the best TE to come out of this draft class. Like him more than Washington and he's up there with Mayer for me. Less of a body catcher and is just super well-rounded. And a pure hands-catcher. WR Josh Downs and Jalin Hyatt will be popular answers. LB wise, I love Daiyan Henley but don't think he's a fit. My sleeper that would cause some eyes to roll, but I think is a superstar is Jahmyr Gibbs. I think he's special and if there, would be hard to pass on. He elevates an offense to another level. His receiving ability combined with his burst is next level. He really reminds me of LT meets Tony Pollard. Could be a monster, consistent 50+ receptions type. Not ideal since we're signed with Sanders but they'd be one hell of a duo. That all being said, we probably don't pick any of these guys because I'm usually off with predictions lol.
  2. For the base looks, I think Chinn may honestly be fine at S. He’s a unique guy but don’t thing we need to run him away entirely from S especially when we have Cover 1 deployed, he’s pretty ideal for the robber assignments coming ip to the box from deep. Thing is you want to Disguise that and playing him perceived back could be a tell. The short being, there may be times we just should play him deep to keep offenses guessing. He’ll be that big nickel a good majority of the time otherwise. Luvu can rotate in and outside, think they even mentioned that. That’s where I think AA from NW comes in as a perfect fit (would be @39) for the other true EDGE that can rush and run defend.
  3. The more I'm force-diving on Young, the more I really like. If he is an exception to the norm re:size, you could really get someone special. I just feel all around soundness to him. Mentally, maturity, game, he plays as smooth as butter. Honestly, both of them have the mentality I like in QBs. More chill, even keel demeanor with the helmet off, but attractors/people magnets. They just seem grounded and ahead of where so many are from a maturity standpoint. Some of the best have been just that. Stroud is definitely more on the religious side, but to each their own.
  4. First play here is reminiscent of Stroud to MH Jr
  5. There's some promising ones. I think Sam LaPorta could end up being the best TE to come out of the class. Luke Schoonmaker, Tyler Kraft, & Josh Whyle would all be upgrades over Thomas and be potential future starters. Reich has deployed multiple TEs, even when the Eagles had Ertz (w/Burton). Could definitely see this happening in R3-5.
  6. I'd suggest looking at: BJ Ojulari Ade Adebawore Felix Anudike-Uzomah Drew Sanders
  7. Both are opportunities for a staff with job security but no future at the position to mold.
  8. You're either a fan or not. You can like both, you can like one, you can like none. It is what it is.
  9. I heard from a bird there he is a topic of heavy conversation but there's no consensus. And some aren't fans. That being said, therein lies the interest and intent to study him hard.
  10. It's like watching a guy slice the irons at a range but gets better as he moves up. He's all woods, no irons (yet)
  11. That's my biggest takeaway. The microscope is now on, no awful OL to work behind. He just doesn't seem to be able to say, hey, I'm putting this right there. Even on the short ones. That being said, you can learn to control the traits.
  12. If someone can help correct the short stuff and get his mind & arm in sync, could be a similar outcome. The tools are apparent. The man is built for the game.
  13. I'm just live chatting, yep, they're back in there getting all handsy
  14. Deep balls were a A, short and intermediates were a C. A lot more misses than you'd like to see. Out routes and overs were simply not accurate and very inconsistent placement wise. That's without an opposing defense in your face.
  15. McCown & Reich quick hug and walk away, no chatter with the staff.
  16. It is what it is. It's clear he does not have as much control or finese. Tools wise are great. Okay, some beautiful deep ones now.
  17. Back on track to end the redzone drills. 2 nice throws.
  18. Oh my lord...that footwork and throw was hideous. I may have to turn this off. He is really hurting
  19. This is rough as hell right now
  20. OUCH. Two more inaccurate after the field swap.
  21. Deeper one started, 2 more inaccurate. Sail miss deep. Then behind and outside on the next.
  22. Alright, back on track again with the deep routes
