    2-15 after going all-in on the #1 overall pick, a GM saying we were ready for a playoff run lol..and no 1st the following season. This is the worst all things considered. We have 4-5 players worth a damn.

    Lost 5 of their last 6 games -- went from the potential 1 seed to missing the playoffs.

    JAX fell apart. Lawrence still does not look good. He's not playing like a guy who will get another contract for JAX.

    IF he's not looking good under a new situation next year, he honestly may not stick around the NFL as a backup. Could get benched by game 6-7ish if the results look the same under a new regime and then, I see him sliding out of the league. I could easily see him leaving and build a career outside the game (on the field that is).

    Tomlin is an excellent coach. But I (a) doubt he goes anywhere and (b) doubt Tepper could get him. Much better than Wilks. Don't get that comp/seems a bit shallow. I'd say he is one of the best coaches of the 21st century.

    My Top-3: Ben Johnson Dave Canales Mike MacDonald Who I'd be fine with: Shane Waldron Ben Slowick (seems a bit inexperienced but am open to it given HOU's year) Frank Smith (again, a bit unsure given his resume but open) Jim Harbaugh (why not if him and Tepper end up figuring it out haha)

    O’Connell in Minny, Waldron in SEA, our own Thomas Brown. I’m probably missing more. Depends on how you look at it but McVay is still pretty in line philosophically with Shanahan in many respects. And both are still making the playoffs annually and contending.

    Yeah I remember hearing that as well. Likely Avila or Bergeron at OG. If memory serves me right, word was they had their eye on Nolan Smith too. And they mentioned they had an edge on their list that was taken early (McDonald was my guess) Their big boards were still very flawed if they had Mingo as best available.
