  1. It'll be interesting. Baltimore's D had an all-time great type of season. Top down, they are stellar and are very disciplined. Honestly, the Slowik v. Macdonald battle in the game could be between our two finalists.
  2. They've got weapons for sure. I was a big fan of TB's cadence last night. It felt he was playing ahead of the defense and had a good feel for run v. pass calls. I just love that feeling of an offense keeping a defense on their toes and tired. Tire them out and them kick em' where it hurts. I also liked seeing that game sealing TD at the end to refute any sort of miracle comeback. Eagles were stacking the box thinking TB was just trying to run time and they went for a medium range TD pass. Great call.
  3. What personal attack? I'm saying you're being one, not that you are one. Not everyone is going to take away exactly what you did from that article. It's okay.
  4. Yes--I'm saying to relax. CTFO. Mage offered a perfectly reasonable stance about not taking this face value and to not conflate 1 article and you're getting hyper-defensive and being a condescending prick. Just stop.
  5. I'm not speaking to Halaby. If you don't see what's trying to be offered as a differing opinion about a freaking GM search, then just proceed with your shtick. You're completely missing the point in this attempt to never look wrong. Proceed with your 500 per day. Not interesting in continuing this so just keep doing you.
  6. I'm not trying to get in an argument about Halaby, but just relax man. It's a GM search. Like we have no say and it's impossible to really know the goings on. Take a breath from the reposting all this stuff for a minute.
  7. Bolding the unnecessary when Mage made some perfectly fine points. You're extrapolating a lot from primarily one secondhand source via article and then turning it into some grand narrative. The Athletic is awesome, but not gospel. Tweets from NFL Insiders are not gospel. He's 100% right, we have no clue at the end of the day. You're treating "researching" (aka googling work history and finding tweets & articles to repost) as the end all be all in analyzing a GM candidate. These are not payer evals. The skills required and the skills they have to perform the role are not inherently observable to a fan of a team. Take things for what they are and accept knowns vs. unknowns.
  8. I’m a fan from everything I’ve seen since Seattle. He’s very promising and 13 years of NFL experience ain’t nothing. He’s got a solid grounding. More to prove as a coordinator, but he seems to have HC potential.
  9. His call on that last touchdown to seal the game was something we just don’t see here. He finished them off mortal combat style. Philly stacked the box to stop what would typically be a run, he knew, so just went for the sealing TD. Leave no chances, don’t take the easy way out. Rivera would have ran 3 straight times, and kicked a FG
  10. That’s the impression I got from a lot of guys playing for Rhule. It was a “Is this sh!t for real?/lol” Attitude from a lot of the players.
  11. Well good thing that was the last wildcard game because this thread has devolved into a few (and quite odd) pissing matches
  12. Philly has got some weird stuff going on. Everyone (Lurie, Roseman, Sirianni, the players) have looked miserable since the game began.
  13. I highly doubt Quinn ends up our coach.
  14. I don't understand how that's not a fumble recovered in bounds...
  15. It’s also rendered useless when the temps get low enough. (Coming from an architect that does primarily CA/Field QC work) snowmelt type coil systems can only do so much and are built for flatwork.
  16. That could explain why a majority of our pool has been contracts & financial types. Have a few to look at instead of Dan with scouting and personnel experience but then a net of options that is more complimentary.
  17. Big GM interviews today. The Brian Johnson/Alec Halaby chirp by Caplan is uh, erhmm.. And then the Morgan one - I think we all suspected he'd get legit consideration. I would hope there would still be some overhaul to our scouting dept even if its the case. The crew that coalesced on these last 2 drafts should not be something to model after.
  18. I'd imagine a lot of the concrete flatwork there has snowmelt but install on vertical surfaces and plastic seats is not something worth having with how shoddy that would be and no real proven products for that application, at that scale.
  19. Yep-- I think a lot end up leaving. Can totally see Luvu signing with a contender, becoming a household name elsewhere. Chinn is good as gone per his end of season interview. Could also see Woods and/or Vonn wanting something else even though they're under contract Some willing casualties being Donte, Burns, & Shaq We'll basically have Brown (& maybe Horn) on defense with just Bryce on offense to build with.
  20. That Texans team bloomed so quickly w/a young coordinator in Slowik with a young HC Ryans, it may feel very exciting for them to build a new powerhouse there. Can see the energy around staying and building a perennial SB contender with Stroud, Anderson, & company. That's a legacy (+more) type play to stay.
  21. I'm a fan of the options in the cycle and think we could hit with the coaching. My optimistic side (for next year): The coaching circus ends with this hire. We get a no shenanigans guy ready to build something legit. They figure out a workable dynamic between Tepper, management and coaching bc it's a no nonsense type of hire at GM and HC (Macdonald plz) They end up building an elite defense in short order We finally hit on a mid-round pick for the first time in forever-- a new snazzy pass rusher We also land a breakout RB that comes out of nowhere My pessimistic side: Bryce's performance next year will be a mixed bag with some bad and good that will heavily divide the fanbase going into 2025. It will feel like purgatory. Because of this, our WR room will still not feel right. Could see us landing a guy who's already a legit route runner like Worthy, McMillan or Corley who's the one promising WR on the team. The OL will still struggle -- not the worst but probably in that 20-25th ranking. I don't think Icky recovers, LT & LG re-emerge as big needs (again) Will probably manage a 4-6 win season with some stuff to be hopeful about but a lot of question marks. I anticipate a lot of new faces that aren't yet here becoming the new team core. Brown is the only guy here yet that would be in that group come 2025.
  22. Well there's a good chance he's got Tepper's attention and that's all that matters haha
