I don’t understand the hesitation. 2 most important things you want: Accuracy & an high end NFL level arm He’s got both.
-
That was an absolute dime NFL level throw right there. Perfect anticipation on that.

What an absolute DIME to MH Jr

People have crazy expectations. He looks like a totally viable prospect

Really solid start there.

Who should we be looking at outside the "top 4" QB candidates?

Yep. The most unrealistic thing you'll typically see are those wishing for some miraculous trade down yet we get a guy we target. You either stay put or trade up to get a guy you target. Only exception to not drafting high is if they like a guy enough to trade back into Round 1 in the event we don't take one with our first overall pick. Would also not be opposed to a double dip. I see no other path for a QB in this draft. -
Biggest Michigan-OSU game in forever starting soon, really big day for Stroud's NFL aspirations annd the national title.

Sources: Nebraska working to hire Matt Rhule as coach

His salary for remaining years are offset by what his Nebraska contract is. So it all depends on what they paid him. Basically, our contract gives a nice fluff but I imagine he's still getting paid nicely by them. We probably got out of 20-25 mil of the 40 remaining. It's all Teppers money anyways. -

8 years? Wow. We definitely got out of the remaining owed with the clause we had. Sayonara! -

Enjoy Lincoln, Nebraska Matt. It's like a boring version of Omaha, and I'm not endorsing Omaha. -
Haener off to an nice start tonight.

Tanner McKee Jaylen Daniels Penix is a toss up, want to see how he keeps it up through the season but he's on track. Those 3 are quality guys with great upside, and most importantly NFL level arms which for some reason gets lost on a lot of people when that's most critical at the end of the day. Daniels is the one to watch IMO. I want to love Ward. But I think he should stay another year. He's young and has mad potential. The rest are a bit of toss-ups/developmental. I get why people may like some like Rogers, J Hall, etc. but they're a bit of stretches. -
After Young & Stroud, my rankings are pretty different than others. For me, Jayden Daniels is being crazy slept on. Chad Reuter and a few other reporters have alluded to teams around the league being high on him and he's flying under the radar. 21 years old 6'3 200 Throws a laser, tight spiral, quick release. There is no question, he has an NFL level arm. Would probably be top-12-15ish in arm strength. Has gotten more accurate as the year has progressed And man, does that boy have fire in his legs 2,377 yards, 26 TDs, 2 INTs, wins big games, 911 rushing yards, 70% completion, 104.8 pro passer rating

The Lions had a few off games this year but I'm very high on the guy. He's got a lot of potential as a HC.

That 1st Chark throw was one Panthers QBs don’t make

Kyle Allen has definitely found his role in the league and I’m here for it. Still the QB CMC produced the most with to date. Would’ve loved if he was just kept as our bridge QB some years ago. He’s in essence what we’ve endured since (honestly, better than). Doesn’t make him good but he’s got that role figured out.

post 1! Ryan Day's system is interesting. He changes a ton year to year based on the talent available, all about creating for the strengths of the players so it naturally handicaps every guy on the team. Stroud does play a bit timid at times, you can sense his nerves but statistically, he's been fine, if not quite good under pressure. Michigan is going to be a huge test. Excited to see.
