This draft kind of blows all around so just take a stab at whatever QB is at the top of your board and available at 9

Just get a legit coach and trade up for Stroud

Disappointing player of the year award?
Bear Hands replied to WarPanthers89's topic in Carolina Panthers
Surprised the lack of mentions for YGM. This was a huge year for him and he really didn’t take that step. He was a consistently 1st round projection in his draft and it’s just not materialized. He’s my choice -

Tepper is going to fly there and grab him like he's George Shinn coming after David Thompson in a rogue helicopter. They'll grab pie.

Rapoport and Pelissero talk head coach openings
Bear Hands replied to Mr. Scot's topic in Carolina Panthers
Yep, if Tepper is less fixated and has some internal support to assist (which he did admit to wanting w/the new search after firing Rhule, said in that presser he wanted some advisors this time around), I'll trust the process because that's all we can really do at day's end. Just happy it seems like a good field of candidates. -

I'd tend to agree. I'd say Waldron is quietly a top candidate from the ever growing McVay tree. Steichen stemming from the old McCoy SD staff with Reich/ & Sirianni Ryans is this year's Shanahan guy Ben Johnson I still find interesting being a Mike Sherman pupil with his former counterparts in Zach Taylor & Dan Campbell. Both now HCs. Harbaugh is self-explanatory, and not a bad option one bit. Have some REALLY interesting guys out there. -

Shane Waldron & Ken Dorsey would be potential adds. Unsure if Leftwich is perceived as a rising guru, but he could get considered by teams with openings. -
Harbaugh to Carolina Makes Too Much Sense...
Bear Hands replied to chknwing's topic in Carolina Panthers
I can see him right there for the taking if we want to engage. I see the Colts as a hard no--Harbaugh is pretty tight with the Polians and certain circles that simply won't work w/Irsay. Broncos will likely be a no from him for reasons mentioned, but it's not impossible. Only real competition for him are teams who haven't fired their coach yet. I'd usually think this is a bit long shot discussion, but this is a very real possibility this time around. -
Report: Jim Harbaugh wants to return to NFL (Athletic)
Bear Hands replied to amcoolio's topic in Carolina Panthers
Kunkel isn't one of the mudslingers, usually a pretty straight forward guy with player updates/news feed. Very interesting. -
Between Spears and the Illinois kid Brown, there's some fun ones to add to our arsenal in that 4th-6th range. Two of my faves that seem to have the NFL level quickness.

Arch Manning 2025 babay

Given that we were in a reasonable spot to get Garrett Wilson or Justin Jefferson in both of their drafts, it's hard not to really crave the stud WR.

I believe so.

LOVE IT. Pratt wasn't asked to do much but made no mistakes & Spears absolutely snowplowed the Trojans. Absolutely awesome win.
