Why is it that we all think we are some kind on Hacky Sack pros when our phone slips out of our hand? Like we imagine that we will gently kick it up in the air and gracefully catch it when we ultimately end up propelling it into a wall or cabinet at twice the speed it was falling....

Ive been an iPhone fanboi since pretty much day one. Ive paired that with a series of LifeProof cases over the years and whether it was recreation water sports (mainly white water with lots of submersion and impacts) or camping or general abuse Ive not been let down. Probably more of an endorsement of LifeProof (I guess they are Otterbox now) than one of a particular cell phone mfg.

Sorry... I wasnt trying to derail the thread. I was just chiming in with a concern I personally have based on completely anecdotal information. You noted earlier about the difference in the chargers and their requirements. Im sure my concern is probably rooted in guys who thought they could wire up a 220 after watching a youtube video and didnt have a pro come out and do it.
-
That's why I acknowledge its an anecdotal take. But for me its a concern I cant really shake. I generally don't trust rechargeable batteries and the more stories I see about exploding hoverboards, vapes, cell phones, and cars the worse my confirmation bias gets. and before you ask, no I dont charge my phone or laptop overnight Its definitely a me thing

What is the benefit to benching starters for the preseason?

Didnt Dan say during the in-game interview that since they were #1 on the waiver wire they needed to do a lot more evaluating of the bottom half of the 53 man roster would be? -
Its anecdotal of course but before I moved out of CO there seemed to be a spate of EVs in garages catching fire and burning the house down. I don't see anything on a couple of web searches saying its a widespread problem but those kinds of things stick in my head and make me leery of buying one just yet.

Having just gone through the sale and purchase process... On our purchase, we bought from one of the iBuyers. They made it very clear that they were giving no concessions beyond adjusting to the appraised price (-6k). With them holding as much inventory as they do in the market I bought in and their willingness to let us walk, Im guessing that number is going to be lower than 80%. On the sale side I have a hard time believing a buyers agent will leave their payout up in the air until Inspection Objection and Resolution when those concessions are negotiated - although Im guessing you're implying that it would be part of the initial offer but even that would leave it up to that final negotiation. Its a hella risky game to play to count on it coming out of the sellers pocket. I can absolutely see the sellers forking over some portion but at the end of the day I cant see why a buyers agent would sign with a client that didn't agree to the fact that they were ultimately responsible for their commission. It does kinda blow my mind how many agents seem to be so determined to get paid by the seller as opposed to their client.

And now buyers agents can get paid by their clients as opposed to the party they are negotiating against.

The center of circulation is forecast to move within a couple miles of the house. Im glad the new roof and gutters went on within the last 2 weeks

Too many good memories. But them hanging up their spurs as a team and not going on without Steven is a testament to their bond. Yeah, I know they are all ancient and have all the money they need but something about seeing Roger and Pete performing without Keith/Kenny, or John was just kinda pathetic.

One thousand times this. The multiverse and the Quantum Realm were neat tricks in Endgame. Its a tired trope in the new MCU. Im not invested in any of the characters when they all have the ultimate plot armor.
