  1. Burns wants to be paid more than any DE. The problem is that his play doesn't match. Dude should have taken the $27M, but now he'll get tagged for less $$$ and less security, which isn't that what players want?
  2. We've got much worse SuperBowl problems.....
  3. I'm sure it's old news (did scroll through 22 pages), but the RH radio station is reporting Evero is getting a 2nd interview.....
  4. I'll renew my PSL's, but only because I buy them through my business and use them as such. Also, if we host the Cowboys, I can recoup 1/2 of the entire season's cost right there. Other than that, no, I will not spend a dime on this team. I'll begrudgingly spend $$ to go see CLT FC play, but only if my son wants to go. Luckily, he likes the Independence games just as much, so that's my preferred choice.
  5. After the season we just had, you fire everyone, from the GM to the janitor. I hope it works out, but my hopes are not high. We'll just have to see where we are this time next year to evaluate this latest promotion from within......
  6. Hard for me to tell as I watched about 2 hours of the 2023 team attempt to play football. I think we had higher expectations heading into 23 than 10, so that makes it more disappointing for me.
  7. Thought the same thing last night when they were talking about the GM candidates on the radio. Makes sense. One guy finds his players, the other one figures out how to pay them.
  8. I think you have to address other deficiencies on Offense to really see what you have in Bryce. He's here next year, after that, who knows.
  9. What Evero did this year with a defense plagued by injuries and an offensive unit that didn't do the D any favors should have him in the running. It won't though.
  10. No thanks, Smitty is Tepper's boy.
  11. Ticket Master suggested I sell tickets in 503 for $30 for the Tampa game!
  12. I lost interest during Covid when I could stay home, eat my own food and drink my own booze for cheap. I have watched about an hour of Panthers football this season. Heck, I haven't attended a game since before Covid. I sold my Dallas tickets and paid for over half of the season and gave the rest of the tickets away. I drive to CLT everyday for work, I'm not going to add another trip on the weekend to support Tepper and the 'product' on the field.
  13. This O is a unit devoid of talent and that needs to be address at any and every opportunity by the new coach and GM. Regardless of who the QB is, that unit needs major attention. Whether or not Tepper can get the right football people in place and if he can let THEM do their job, is the sticking point. I personally don't think Tepper can help himself and at the end of the day, all he sees are dollar signs. Regardless of his negligence, he's seen the value of his investment increase.
  14. 15+ years ago when I lived in Charleston, it was easier to find an ATL or JAX game on TV than it was to see a Panthers game.
  15. Without a doubt. It's actually surprising he hasn't already started charging admission to TC.
  16. Tepper is going to sh*t for everything he does, but I don't see this as a big deal or a bad decision. He could move training camp to Pittsburgh for all I care.
  17. This is an investment for Tepper. Yeah, he doesn't know football, but he does know investments. He's going to pump the value of the Team(s) and he's going to sell.
  18. Folks could turn in their PSL's, but then all Tepper is going to do is turn around and sell those tickets every week to visiting fans! This is an investment for Tepper, all he cares about is the bottom line.
  19. EXACTLY, the only result he cares about is money.
  20. Our only hope is that Tepper looks as the lack of success his time as owner and realizes that he's the common denominator, decides to step back and out of football decisions, and lets professionals do it. I don't think that will ever happen though....
  21. His biggest 'weapon' is a 34 year old receiver. We all can agree that Cam was electrifying from the get go, but let's keep in mind he was throwing to 89, Shockey, and Olsen and had J Stew and Deangelo in the backfield, along Jordan Gross and Ryan Kahlil......
  22. He might want a winner now, but he let FItt gut the team and trade away all of our picks. Did Tepper REALLY think we'd have a good team this year? Look at us, it's a bunch of scrubs and decent players who can't stay on the field. This team is a sh*t show from the top down and I'm so happy that I checked out years ago. Someone dig up JR and bring back Jeans Day!
