  1. He was surefire top 5 pick prior to the season. They had a new coach and severely underperformed this season. Went from ranked 11th with multiple NFL prospects to 4-8. Fifita also regressed a ton with the new staff. I watched them early in the season and their whole offense was just throw the ball in Tet’s general direction and hope he gets it and makes a play. which is kinda why I think some of the separation stuff gets overblown. When your QB isn’t throwing with any anticipation and accuracy or is staring down one receiver you’re going to be making more contested catches
  2. He seems to be sticking to his board and stacking talent. Which is what great franchises like Pittsburgh and Baltimore have done. They picked Tet because they ranked him higher than the defensive players available. They took multiple edges because they felt like that’s where the value was. Princely was a guy who probably should’ve went R2. I think long run this will payoff. Stacking talent with playmakers and the front 7 after building the O-Line last year.
  3. There’s some legitimate talent and potential available. I like Stutsman. There’s a few guys at DT I think could pan out. Like Walker or Stackhouse. Like Damien Martinez as well. Solid blocker and strong runner.
  4. A little disappointed we didn’t grab Winston or Watts who I really liked. Also loved Burch. But can’t complain about Princely. Athletic, productive against high level comp. We had a huge need and he helps fill it
  5. Wasn’t a huge Scourton guy. Lack of production last season, didn’t test at combine. Bit of a tweeter imo
  6. He’s nothing like Legette as a prospect. Legette was very raw. Had 12 total TDs in 5 college seasons and had 1500 yards for his whole 5 year college career. Tet has nearly averaged that as a Sophomore and Junior. Hes not as athletic but much bigger and much more natural as a receiver.
  7. You ask if Frank was the problem as if we were good this year. We went 5 and 12. Our receiving core consisted of Mingo, Chark, and Terrace Marshall last year and we had one of the worst offensive lines in football. Adding Coker, Legette and Sanders and the additions to our OLine. I’m sure Reich could win a couple more games as well.
  8. I like Damien Martinez. He’s big and an absolute load to bring down. Also shifty and he was very well rounded. Easily Miami’s best blocker in its backfield. And showed nice hands as well. I’ve seen people suggest he could go in R4 later and having watched about every game of his… I think he could be a steal.
  9. I thought that was who this was going to be about. He impressed me against SMU and then really stood out again against Boise. Can really block it seems and his size and hands is a real weapon receiving. Definitely not our biggest need, but kinda reminds me of the Bowers thing last year, if you get a chance to get a weapon like that. Plus if we traded back and could add a 2nd round pick.
  10. I just don’t see the point in this. We’re not currently in position to draft another QB anyway so why waste time dooming and glooming when our QB has been showing progress
  11. Yeah I’m on board with drafting TMac. His catch radius was ridiculous when I seen him play. I feel like we could find production on defense in R2 or R3
  12. He played well, gave us a chance to win. I don’t understand the gymnastics some are going through here. Was he Tom Brady? No. is he the QB of our future? Who knows. We’ve got the rest of the season to figure this out. However as bad as the projected 1st rounders have looked lately I am happy to feel slightly less desperate to reach for one.
  13. Bryce Young is good now? wasn’t prepared for this
  14. Just had to send my chiefs fan friend a message talking poo right before kick off
  15. I wouldn’t mind Fields. If we paired TMac and Fields we’d have a shot a competent offense
  16. That had to be the least inspiring win I’ve witnessed
  17. I was thinking that I’ve warmed a little on Mykel Williams. Feel like having him + Brown back could suddenly make our defense look a little different
  18. Next years class is pretty uncertain as well. People are touting Arch as a great prospect and we’ve barely seen him play. Then behind him there’s Nico? He’s struggled since they’ve played better comp. How many of these guys are confidently above Sanders right now? Maybe Arch does hit and becomes a clear QB1. And then what are your odds of getting him? That we draft a good edge, sign a better veteran QB, and yet still end up with the worst record in the league?
  19. The nice thing about being so bad… there’s almost no wrong pick. Wanna grab T-Mac? Sure we could use a high level WR. Graham? We could definitely use a force on the line next to Brown. Pearce? A pass rusher would be great. Campbell? Probably not our biggest need… but we don’t have an elite LT. Will Johnson. Could use a talent upgrade in the secondary.
  20. Bo Nix completing 6 passes for negative 7 yards is wild. Makes Bryce Young look like Brett Favre
  21. I thought Cam was a potential 1st round talent last year. This year I think he’s a potential #1. He’s really impressed me with his presnap reads and IQ so far.
  22. fwiw Miami believes it’s solved some of the fumbling issue. We’ll see if it holds true
  23. He makes some risky throws. His pick against FL he tried to do too much throwing back while scrambling to his left. He likes to push the ball downfield from what I’ve seen. We’ll see if that comes back to hurt us against more talented defenses.
  24. We don’t need to give up more draft assets for a back up QB when we’re the worst team in the league. Christ
