Nope. I watched it again the other night for the first time in years. It's an underrated Sandler flick.

I still don't understand Eisenberg as Lex Luthor. But I'll obviously reserve judgement until I see his performance, I like him as an actor.

I was apprehensive about the look at first, I still kind of am, but I'm looking forward to Leto's performance. He's a really good actor. Most of the questions surrounding his tattoos don't seem to be just about the fact that he has tattoos, but that they are a little forced. Regardless, seeing the trailer has me pretty excited for the movie. Shame we have to wait a whole year.

Oh boy, an article from TheBlaze. Let me guess, it's a rant about double standards, with a poor comparison, and how next we'll be getting rid of all symbols from the past?

Oh geez, someone always has to come in squawking about free speech. Funny how they're all about free speech and how it's for everyone until it comes time to rant about the liberals "pussifying my country" with political correctness. Then it's time for those liberals to shut the hell up about racist sports names and caricatures, and the free speech that is supposedly "for everyone" goes right out the window. Dan Snyder does not deserve anyone's respect for trying to protect his own pockets, and preserving the legacy of a bigot.

I don't think people are arguing that he despised native americans. Rather that instead, as a staunch segregationist, he was operating on an old very flawed and bigoted mentality going back to when plantation owners viewed slaves as nothing more than property, which was clearly demonstrated by his well documented unwillingness to have any black players on his team. He didn't view black players as equals to individuals such as himself, and it certainly stands to reason that he didn't view natives much better either, except to be used as property in the form of a caricature for his sports franchise only to further his own financial gain. The name, and the legacy of the man from which it originated should have been left long ago in the tainted era in which he lived.

Whoa, I was worried a bit initially about Suicide Squad, but that trailer was fantastic.

He wasn't just some old white dude. He was one of many white men in positions of power and wealth in that era who were vehemently opposed to civil rights. Maybe instead of making quips and diminishing that, you could do a little research of your own on the matter before wondering aloud how a man like that who would use a racial slur to name his professional football team could possibly be racist. The fact that "Redskins" was even acceptable back then, and could still possibly exist today in the year 2015, speaks to the flawed archaic mindset that still resonates with some of our population.

Well he definitely didn't care much for black people. Below is the type of bigotry that the Redskins name originates from. Would you like to keep defending it?

People have the right to speak freely, and be a bigot if they want, and others have the right to speak out against that bullshit.

I hope all these buffoons defending the name actually understand who, and where it came from. Look at the owner who originally acquired, and named the team the Redskins, George Preston Marshall. He was known as one of the biggest racists in the NFL, who flat out refused to have black players on his team for well over a decade until his hand was finally forced in 1962 when Robert Kennedy threatened to revoke the lease on the stadium. Even when he finally agreed, the first black player the franchise drafted immediately demanded a trade, refusing to play for a blatantly racist owner. That's the legacy Dan Snyder is protecting? What a shitheel.

Looks about the same, just a little more toned. I think the injuries had more impact on him last year than losing weight. He's due for a big year.

So uh, about that Frank Kaminsky...

I don't really care about the guys personal life. But in regards to football, he seems to be buying into his own hype, and that's all well and good when things are going well. But if things aren't going well, people are going to turn on him in a hurry, especially his fans, and that will only be amplified if he gets that huge contract he wants. He better be prepared for that.

Depends entirely on who we would be replacing Olsen with. Though he is a TE, he is arguably at times our #1 WR, and Newton's favorite target, not to mention a great locker room presence. Also, our #2 TE is currently Ed Dickson. Um yeah, that speaks for itself. I mean, I would consider it. But, Peters, and a 1st? That's a fantasy Madden trade. You can make the "well receivers can't catch passes without an OL" argument, and there is a flipside to that too, having a top OL doesn't mean much if you have pass catchers with stone hands out there. I'm obviously well aware of the Panthers OL struggles, but even with that in mind, I still wouldn't make the kind of terribly one sided trade the Saints made. You're either getting better, or you're getting worse. The Saints got worse.

Well unfortunately we don't exist in a dream world where you can trade one player for an entire elite OL, so that option is out. I would not trade Olsen for one offensive lineman. I've already seen the Panthers neglect TE for years in the past. Graham got more up front guaranteed, but Gronkowski is on a contract worth $54 million. You're at least somewhat rational about the trade at least though. So I won't give you too hard of a time.

Rob Gronkowski says hello. Also, the Patriots traded 6 time Pro Bowler Logan Mankins to Tampa Bay before the season even started. They still won the Super Bowl. Now I know the Patriots are a differently run organization, but a legitimate game changer at TE is pretty much always going to be more valuable than an offensive lineman. Can you even name one guy on the Patriots OL? I can't think of any off the top of my head, but I did see Gronkowski showing up big for his team when they needed it in the Super Bowl. So again, you can rationalize this if you want, but it's a huge downgrade.

I still can't see how anyone could look at that Graham/Unger trade, and come out thinking the Saints have actually improved. They traded one of the best TE's in the NFL for an aging oft injured Center who is only under contract through 2016. I really just about can't stand Jimmy Graham, but the guy is really good, and he's going to light it up in Seattle. Oh, and before any Saints fans come in here talking about how Jimmy Graham is 28, and his best years might be behind him. Our own TE Greg Olsen is 30, and he just had a career year. Hell, Tony Gonzalez was still putting up big numbers in his mid thirties with Atlanta. The Saints got absolutely jobbed in that trade, and that's just all there is to it.
