The biggest thing with Baker is I think he is broken beyond repair mentally. Between his constant batted balls, the pressure of playing in a contract year and the psychological damage of being let go by the Browns for literally nothing, only to be replaced my sexual predator they paid 200 million for.. I think he has Derek Carr syndrome at this point and he is past the point of no return mentally.

I honestly have no problem with Tepper at all, he happened to hire a bad head coach, it happens to the best of owners, win some/lose some. Now with that said, if he still keeps Rhule after this season, then all bets are off, I will then pull out the pitch fork. But Tepper hasn’t really done anything that’s a “smoking gun” to say he is a terrible owner.

It wasn’t just that, the offense just looked different eye test use, the first four games we simply looked like a confident and competent offense that knew exactly what to do. This offense now under baker is demoralizing

Sam- 10 total TDs, (7 passing, 3 rushing), 2 INTs 1193 passing yds, 68% completion, 95 QB rating. Baker- 5 total TDs, (4 passing, 1 rushing), 3 ints, 745 passing yds, 54% completion, 75.5 QB rating. And this is a pretty fair comparison because Baker’s first four teams are very similarly just as bad as Sam’s first four teams last year, hell, Sam even put up decent numbers against Dallas who is a playoff team. NONE of the four teams Baker has played are projects to make the playoffs. The bottom line is Sam’s upside is much higher and he had a waaaay worse O line than what he would have this year.

I still can’t help but wonder if CMC had stayed healthy all year last year and we had this O line to go a long with it, what that 3-0 start would have turned into. Say all you want about Sam’s collapse but mofo looked on the brink of being Josh Allen lite those first three games and Baker has similarly bad teams as Darnold did and has looked absolute garbage

I know we all said how it was all theatre and the QB “competition” was a joke, but IF by some 1 in a billion chance we start Sam and he looks good, maybe the whole QB competition wasn’t theater after all and the coaches knew something we didn’t?!

Take Darnold’s first three games last year and compare them to Baker’s first three games. Darnold looks like Peyton Manning in comparison

I HATE trick plays with a passion

I must say, the fact that we have beat them so much over the years has me even more worried about this game, most people on here are confident we beat them because of how many times we have already, but I’m a big believer in what goes up must come down and they are due for a win against us and will be hungry. I hope I’m wrong but I’m just a big numbers guy and las of averages says we can’t keep beating the same team forever

In my opinion I think this coaching staff has a gambler’s mentality on CMC. A “just one more play and that’s it” I think they have every intention of running Foreman more during the week, but when the bullets start flying in real time on game day, they get a hot hand with CMC and run him “just one more pla, I promise” and before you know it, they run him 50 million times and before you know it they end up going to the pawn shop pawning their Rolex their great grandfather wore during WW2 because they didn’t realize they ran out of cash and exhausted their resources.

We beat the Cards (which we are favored slightly) and the Mahomes beats Brady (which is also a legit possibility) and you are looking at this team being tied for or atop the no 1 spot in the NFCS 4 games in. I’m not sure how all the tiebreakers work so we might even be no 1.

What really baffles me is Baker has always been the same the same height and he has had several seasons in the NFL now being what, a top 15 QB, maybe better?! But suddenly he is playing like a mid round rookie who has never stepped foot on a NFL field until now. I get it, new team, new offense but he looks lost and like he’s been some back up jag his whole career. I just don’t grasp how a QB can go being a top 12-top 15 QB to suddenly becoming the absolute worst QB in the league while being in a contract year.
