Losing begets losing. Winning instills confidence and a sense of achievement, and actual feeling of pride. It is the only way to start a strong culture. Not one person who played sports would utter the word tank. Well, at least you would hope not.

This team has a #1 and #3 pick at QB. We had 3 2,000 yard rushers from college. And the Offense still pooed the bed. Get your Coach and let him pick his QB. Oh, and let's filter "Tank" to "I don't care about any of that other stuff, I just want the bestest QB." Or something along those lines. Or give them their very own sandbox to play in.

IMO, Wash, NO, and Indy are the only teams that really need a QB. You maybe could add ATL if they decide Mariotta isn't it. Maybe LV, but whoever knows with them? All in all, not a lot of company for the top QBs. And worst case scenario for a whole lot of Huddlers would be for Baker to ball out the rest of the year, and we barely miss the Playoffs. Now that would be epic. Still a lot of season left. Me personally, I can wait a month or so before we get into this draft stuff. It's annoying enough when it's warranted. Let alone halfway through the season.

What about every other player we passed on? We don't have threads about them. Why Fields? Because the fan boys wanted us to draft him. They have been in a tizzy ever since.

One good game and ppl are Crowning the kid. lol As @CRA often says. Even bad players make plays once in a while.

Yupperz. It is embarrassing watching supposed Panther fans slurping all over a player that they are upset is not a Panther. He is a WildCat QB at best. In a year and a half, he has had 1 1/2good games. And lost both. He's a winner that one.

Saw the thread and noticed only 9 responses. Wondered if it had gotten derailed yet? 1st post. At least this place is consistent.

Yada yada yada. Who has to make excuses for that stat line? Ppl that want to be right about Fields. HIs receivers this, and the refs that. lol And I have NFL+ and did watch the game. Fields has a LONG way to go to become what everyone already thinks he is. Will he someday become a quality NFL QB? Doubtful. But hey, there is always a chance he can.

Fields was 17-28 which sounds good. But it was for a whopping 126 yards. Good for 4.4yds a completion. He ran for over 180yds. Sounds like a RB that can throw a little. lol at ppl that think this stat line proves he's turned a corner. Running for more yards than you pass. Now that's the new NFL.

You know who is never wrong? The ppl that play the Shoulda, Coulda, Woulda game. We Shoulda done this, so we Coulda done that, and we Woulda been better off. Entertaining this place is.

As an asset used in making trades. A 1st down the line depreciates. As an actual draft pick. A 1st down the line is still a 1st rounder. In case that was a clerical error, or brain fart.

Point still stands. This team is not yet at a point where we can just jettison our young talent because we have good young talent waiting in the wings.

Want to know how mediocre teams stay mediocre? By trading away their good young talent.
