This is the 2nd time I've seen you say this tonight. I would think that in a year where a JV sized QB may just go #1, having more than one QB succeed doesn't seem like much of a stretch to me. Edit to add; But if it is only 1 QB, I concur, let it be ours.

You get that Young crowd to take back all the mean things they've said about CJ, and we can have a talk. Until then? It's on like Donkey Kong.

Can Bryce Young make the Pro Bowl next season?
Gerry Green replied to Shocker's topic in Carolina Panthers
The hell you say man. It's a jungle out there. Tis not for the faint of heart. Plus, most of it is truly quite humorous. He wins some, and he loses some. I'll take his brand of humor over quite a lot of other content I tell ya what. -
To hell with civility man. This is war.

I was more talking about the quote above yours. I was wondering if someone could decipher it for me? I see how folks can be excited for Young. For me? He's to effing small to waste a 1st pick on. Sure, he can run around for a few years, then we will be right back where we are right now. Picking another QB. -

Is anyone willing to explain this to me? Considering we don't have a first next year and all. -
Is it time to take the Falcons seriously?

You know what dude. I concur wholeheartedly. -

Good Coaching can make decent players better. It cannot however, make bad players good. Good players can win with bad coaching, but you need a poo ton of talent to do so. I think you are undervaluing our talent level. But hey, there are a whole lot of Huddlers who are doing the same thing. That's fine and all. But, don't come running to me if we start winning games and have a good season and all. -

And good players. Good Coaching only takes you so far. The same with good players. You need a good mix of both. -
Frank Reich disputing the media label on him

The good news if they take Young is; we'll be looking for a new QB within a couple of years anyway. I lived through 3 years of Rhule. I can live through a few midget years as well. Although, at my age, I'm not sure how many more of these "Next few years" I have left. There is one Silver lining in all this. With all the running around the little guy has to do to find a lane. The games will be longer. Who can be mad at more Panther football? -

Ain't done nothing yet? We have put together a very strong coaching staff on both sides of the ball. We added a couple top notch players to what was already a pretty good D. We strengthened our Offense at every position. Although we could still use a Power Back and a true #1WR. This team could make the Playoffs with Dalton starting. The only thing standing in the way of our ascension is when will our Rook QB start balling out. I know I'm no expert like so many others around here appear to be. But this team has a chance to be pretty dang good. Pfft at Atl. -
Ain't family the bestest? I had a convertible Mustang at the time, and I hated using the brakes. I took one of my nephews for a ride. When we got back he told his mother we were taking corners on 2 wheels. Kids.

Strange times for you maybe. I lived through the 60s.

In all my years I never could have believed there would ever be a QB smaller than me playing in the NFL. And I have to listen to keyboard warriors screaming for him to QB my team. I mean, I actually thought it was a joke when ppl started talking up Young. No way ppl could seriously think this kid can handle the rigors of the QB position. He is the new poster boy for Not For Long. We need one of those "Must be this tall to play QB in the NFL" signs.

Ellis Williams charlotte observer Mock draft Apr 10
Gerry Green replied to raleigh-panther's topic in Carolina Panthers
Typical of you. Deflect, and attack. I guess when you can't validate your point, that's all that's left. That's funny too. "Sunshine and Rainbow crew". Nothing but insults from you. But hey, at least you are consistent. Care to name a few of our members? Or is that too much to ask? -

You know what would be funny. Drafting Young and putting him behind the same line that got Corral injured. Oh wait, we can't. None of those guys are still around. If you have to make things up, your point may be too weak to start with. -
. I thought it was obvious I was having fun. But obviously I was wrong. You were asking for a line. I gave you one. Sorry I didn't solve your dilemma. Tough crowd.

That's what's so cool about science. There's no one correct answer. . You are asking an unanswerable question. You are asking a math question, when you should be asking a mental question. Knowing Young is probably going to get hurt at some point. How comfortable are you with that risk? There's your line. You're welcome. If you have concerns about Youngs' health. Draft Stroud. If you don't have concerns with Youngs health. Well first off, you're an idiot. But mainly, go ahead and draft him. I got 99 problems, but my QBs health ain't one of them. Cuz I took Stroud.
