Just showing the folks that Rookie QB, and Coaches do in fact make the Playoffs.

2008 Ravens won 2 playoff games with rookie Flacco and rookie coach Harbough. 2008 Falcons made playoffs with rookie Matt Ryan and rookie HC Mike Smith 2009 Jets win 2 playoff games with rookies Mark Sanchez and Rex Ryan. 2012 Colts made playoffs with Rookies Luck and Pagano That's 25% of the time in the last 15 years. If you aren't going to pay him, you should have traded him. As he is still here, he needs to be paid. Really is just that simple.

I think that is pretty much the consensus. Give Bryce all the 1s he needs. If he's the only 1 taking reps with the 1s, so be it. I know that's probably not how it will work, it's just to make a point. But Matt needs all the 1s and 2s he can handle. We absolutely need to find out where he's at football wise. Corral is the wildcard in all this. Trying to get Bryce prepared, and still get Matt meaningful reps. Franks got a lot riding on how this all turns out. Fun times.

I'm pretty sure most actual football aficionados have this stance. Madden is just a game. Whereas the NFL is a blood and guts real life honest to goodness sport.

So, we have 1 good WR and a gaggle of decent ones. Seems like we've got em right where we want em.

Campell has changed the whole vibe in the franchise. From the top down there is an energy that has been sorely lacking for a long time. I wouldn't count them as an easy out anymore.

And no one undervalues Panther players value more than actual Panther fans. They don't seem to trust their own eyes, so they listen to outside noises to help shape their perceptions. It's just seems like it's easier to listen than to think.

IMO, it all comes down to how satisfied Frank is with Bryces' progress. We have those scrimmages with the Jets as well. But I think most agree that Matt needs to get some work with the 1s and the 2s. We have to find out what we have in him.

As a life-long Lions fan I can tell you that you basically nailed it. However, that Offense is potent. All they need is for that Defense to play as well or better than they did to finish last year. If that D can hold teams to low 20s they can win a lot of games with that Offense.

Dalton has had a full career. He isn't the one that needs the work. Corral is the one that needs the work. We have to find out what the kid has. Is he worth keeping for the future? Will he show enough for some team to come calling? Bryce should get some work, but Corral should get a whole bunch of snaps. Edit to add; Bryce should get exactly the amount of work Frank wants him to get. Then let Corral loose. Dalton can get his reps in practice.

Used to be the 3rd game was treated like a real game. 1st half, halftime where adjustments are made, 1 maybe 2 drives in the 3rd. Gets everybody that real game feel. Not sure how Frank wants it done. But I suspect it will all come down to how comfortable he is with Bryce. The less Bryce plays, the more Frank trusts him. Or...Something totally different happens.

It is going to be interesting to see what transpires over the next month. Can actual football talk make a comeback? Check in next week. Same Huddle channel. Same Huddle caricatures.

All pretty valid points. To me the biggest mistake in that game was starting to chase 2 pt conversions way too early. Thanks Foxy Other than that. Man was that one heck of a game?

Already did that with that All Pro subscription. Boy that was worth it for about 6 months. Then just like everything else around here. It went downhill til it eventually disappeared.

So I guess the question becomes; Are there any players you would pay? Because if you don't want to pay 'Burns, there can't be many players you would want to pay. Then if you don't pay Burns it sends a message that the Panthers won't pay their own. Then it starts getting messy. Buying FA every year is expensive and makes it dang near impossible to build chemistry.
