That's a lot to say, "I didn't like the pick." I have already said all I am willing to say. Little as a Panthers was a bust. Yet, Fitt got something for him. I don't care about all that side crap. It is window dressing. We picked him, it didn't work out, and we traded him. Stay safe. And Keep Pounding.

Rapoport: Tepper to be patient with Rhule
Gerry Green replied to kungfoodude's topic in Carolina Panthers
You don't need to watch, or pay, or anything. But let the rest of us make up our own minds. Mkay? -
Let's go Panthers. Give us a reason to believe again. Make the Panthers great again. You guys behave yourselves today. Mkay?
-
Ok then. If your first sentence were true. There would never be a first round flame out. Yet here we are. First rounders still flaming out. And fans taking credit for bust is a right of passage. We all think we are smarter than the fools in charge. Right? And lastly. Combine warriors are just as plentiful as combine fallers. Using the combine alone to judge someone is fools gold.

The fact he got anything for Little is a win. So, in this instance, you are wrong. It's ok to be negative and unhappy. Just maybe keep those comments on the actual truth side of the ledger. Mkay? Speaking in absolutes is like crying wolf. After a while, ppl tune you out.

If you have a 1st round grade on any player. All you are doing is HOPING he gets it. Very few draft picks are sure things. Especially QB and LT. And saying he SHOULDA been a day 3 pick is just hindsight. He graded better than that.

“Are the Panthers becoming perennial Losers?”
Gerry Green replied to ncfan's topic in Carolina Panthers
Belicheat had Cam throw a whopping 4 passes in a game. I'm sure if Cam could throw, that game never happens. But I'm done. You obviously have a horse in this race. -

I'm sorry dude, but Cam was basically a Wildcat QB after that hit from Watts. He couldn't throw the ball past 30 yards. And Defenses played him that way. It may be a sad state of affairs. But it is the truth. -

We still get posts at an almost daily level with ppl still wanting Cam. Cam coulda saved us is still parroted. Cam could still run. But he wasn't much of a passing threat after that Watt hit. -
116 snaps, 0 penalties, 1 sack allowed. Yet only has a 48.5 grade. Still must be atrocious in the running game. And Fitt got something for him. Yeah Fitt.

Panthers were one pick away from Justin Herbert...
Gerry Green replied to PantherBoy95's topic in Carolina Panthers
The argument is, we shoulda traded up. Easy Peasy. We get these woulda shoulda posts every time somebody reminisces about what coulda been. If they can think it. It could/can happen. -
And sometimes it's just comes down to young guys just not getting how much actual work it takes to be an NFL player. They either get it, or they fail. Sounds like Little got it.

The Hottest Seat in the NFL - Canfora on Rhule
Gerry Green replied to Paa Langfart's topic in Carolina Panthers
Are you saying this because you know it's true? Or are you saying it because you want it to be true? Cuz if you know how we can do so. Would you explain it to us who don't get it? -

Wrong, and wrong. But hey. Nice deflects. Just because I am not ready to jump off a cliff like most on here. Does not mean I am content with the current situation. -

It would cost too much to trade CMC this year. You will just have to face the fact he will be here next year. Cam was not an NFL caliber QB once TJ ruined his shoulder. Those who clamor for him are living in denial. Tepper has only had 3 seasons, and 2 games. He has not ruined this franchise in that short of time frame. And if he has. It was too soft to begin with. I know ppl are frustrated and angry. Which leads to hyperbole and wild speculation. But can we at least keep the comments within reason? -

Oh no, our owner hired the wrong people. That has never happened before in the history of the NFL. Only our owner would be that dumb. This is Tepper 4th year. And his first hire. There is a possibility that the guy figures it out next time. Oh wait, this is the Huddle, what was I thinking? -
lol sure, whatevs. You are either clueless or trying to get a rise out of someone. Either way. You are still, what's that word? Oh yeah, wrong.
-
Well said. There are roughly 70 plays a game. And almost all have something exciting to watch.
-
People are so used to complaining, they complain about things that are not worth complaining about. This line has played better than any line in recent memory. They are playing better than the QB.
-
Good question. The saying "If you don't vote, you can't complain" should be turned into "If you don't watch, you can't complain". lol
-
You two stop. Just stop. My team ain't going anywhere.

I can see it both ways. Give the guy the rest of the season to see if this all finally comes together. Then again, sometimes you just have to say no more. Plenty of Coaches get fired in season. If he has done a bad job, ppl will see it for what it is. At some point you just have to pull the plug. Especially in this day and age. Instant gratification and short attention spans lead to unhappy fans. And that can lead to Anarchy. And nobody wants that.
