The Team Played For Their Coach Today
Gerry Green replied to Daddy_Uncle's topic in Carolina Panthers
The Panthers won a game. There is a large crowd that are happy for that result. This is a very large crowd that aren't happy there are ppl who are happy. -
You'll fit in nicely around here. We have quit a few ppl around here who aren't afraid to use such disparaging language.

The Team Played For Their Coach Today
Gerry Green replied to Daddy_Uncle's topic in Carolina Panthers
You 2 do realize that it was just a win. Nothing more. A win a whole lot of Panther fans are happy for. All it means is that a whole bunch of us are happy today. Why does it bother you 2 that ppl can be happy for a win? Or that they don't have the need to quantify it? Let us have our fun and go find a Rhule sux thread. They are all over the place. -
Watching on tv is not the best way to evaluate how wide open WR are. Also, QBs need to be able to make throws into small windows. WR should not have to have 3 yards of separation to be considered open? Also, let us not get sidetracked from the fact Baker was not so good today.
-
I'm sorry you can't accept that it is the QB that decides where the ball finally goes. Blame everyone else if you want. But Baker decides where he is giong to throw it. Hence the phrase "He makes bad decisions".
-
Yeah, I'm sorry, but I'm not going that far down the rabbit hole. You are blaming everyone. Not one player is playing well. Coaches sux, Owner sux. I see a team that just needs a competent QB. Our D looks legit. Our run game can be effective. Our WRs ARE getting open, but the QB can't hit them. Like I said. A COMPETENT QB makes us a very competitive team.
-
Dang man. McAdoo doesn't throw the dang ball.
-
Well, in that case. Pray continue. If it makes you happy, have at it.
-
Oh come on man. Both of those guys would make this team competitive from the start. This team does have talent.
-
@Proudiddygettinng a head start on the reactionary threads. The early bird gets the grease.
-
Just proved my point. lol
-
Well aren't you special. But nah, I'll stay a Panther fan. I will be easy soon. Especially if all these ppl claiming they are ready to leave. Actually leave.
-
You were happy to post the fact, maybe you should, oh I don't know, own up to it. lol @LinvilleGorge posts that the panthers only have 54 and it's the 4th quarter. Gets proven wrong and spins and deflects rather than take responsibility for being wrong. Nice work when you can get it.
-
You want to know what IS bizarre? Your inability to accept being wrong. You claimed something, it was proven wrong. And you deflect from that fact faster than cat to food.
-
Are you really going to lie about the passing numbers to make them look worse?
-
10 minutes left in the 4th. 147 yards. So not looking good for ya. I know folks are unhappy. But man, can we at least try and keep these things realistic?
-
Baker had 76 yards with 7 minutes left in the 3rd. Then hit Shi for 12 more.
-
9-18 for 76 yards with 7 mins to go in the 3rd. Maybe try and get your stats straight next time.
-
Yeah, let's run the Wildcat all year, because Cam can't throw. That's the ticket.
-
Name calling. Bold strategy there Cotton.
-
If we get rid of every player that makes a mistake, there would be no one left to actually play the games.

Rapoport: Tepper to be patient with Rhule
Gerry Green replied to kungfoodude's topic in Carolina Panthers
This is what you said. "It’s time for the fans to stop being patient with Tepper. Stop paying PSL bills. Don’t go to his fancy bullshit field boxes. Don’t pay to see the players get out of their cars. Don’t give him a cent.' Fans is an inclusive word. So, you were talking to every fan. Don't know how you can spin it any other way? The only thing missing from that rant? A megaphone. ha ha ha -
We do know Shi is looking up, not down field?

Players to keep when the teardown eventually happens
Gerry Green replied to Panthers Fan 69's topic in Carolina Panthers
It's still too early in the season to make this kind of determination. But you have to look at the kids on the Dline, Woods is pretty cheap. Maybe Corbett and Bozeman. I want an Oline for my next QB. But like I said. It's still early. Let's see what some of these guys do this year. -
Soooo...we now have 3 threads on the be patient report. People in such a hurry to start a thread they don't even look to see if it is already going. I guess you just can't have enough threads to throw shade around.
