PFF grades from Panthers' Week 8 vs Falcons
Gerry Green replied to TheSpecialJuan's topic in Carolina Panthers
It was about RB who had 2,000 yd seasons in College. Weird to think we had 3 on our roster at one point -
Rams Offering Two (Future) Firsts for Burns
Gerry Green replied to OnlyPantherFaninMaine's topic in Carolina Panthers
Half the Huddle undervalues a player for whom a team was willing to give up 2 1st. You can't make this crap up. Now, all you posters who feel I need a poo. Here's your chance. -

At least I own my mistakes. You just deflect until it goes away. Also, how childish do you need to be to be this petty? -

In one sentence you disrespect Burns. Then in another you want 2 1st for him. I'm good though. Keep Burns and keep building on this solid core for that next shiny new QB. -
We shall cross that bridge if we get there. Also, maybe Wilks gets the best out of McAdoo down the stretch? Do they both get to stay? No matter what happens. We need to make sure we have one of those OC Assistants waiting in the wings. Lose one, promote one. Rinse and repeat.

It was Loannidis. So I got that one wrong. My bad. Still doesn't take away from your bad idea to deal Burns. We have 2 guys on the Dline that can play. And you want to get rid of one of them. For...a chance at something...better? I am soooo glad you are not in charge. -

Burns is the one that caused the bad pass that CJ INTed. But don't let me stop the hating. -

The Falcons are the 5th highest scoring team in the league. They are no pushovers this year. -
What can I say. I'm a funny guy. And it is cute that on a message board where ppl message back and forth. That anyone responding at you is somehow "Following me around". lol This place is too small to hide. You will be quoted, you will be talked about. Learn the nuances and enjoy the ride.

You posted this; "One outlier sure. Generally the QB's throwing the most pick six throws are not going to be perennially contenders I think we can agree on that yes?" And you got shown to be wrong. Now you are complaining about be shown to be wrong and are trying to change the subject. Here on the Huddle we call that deflecting.

Hey, you gotta admit. At least he knows his lane.

We seem to have lost @frankw after this post. lol
-
@frankw don't need no stinkin facts. He just makes stuff up as he goes along. He is the Captain Jack Sparrow of the Huddle.

Ah mental illness. Your go to.

I think you are reaching big time here. I don't believe there is a correlation between throwing pick 6s, and a team's record. You are going to have to show some evidence to back this one up. Bad teams usually have bad QBs. Whereas good teams usually have good QBs. That is more a factor than pick 6s.

When one is raging, facts are a hindrance. lol

That's one of the things that always got me. Folks calling out someone for a bad game, when they can't see half the stuff going on. But hey, fans have been fanning for a long time.
-
I would like to add that DBs are usually some of the smaller guys on the team. They fly around like Kamikazes. And folks get upset when they get dinged up. We just played 2 teams who were down 5 DBs between them. So don't go all Willy Wonka when one gets hurt. Mkay?
-
I concur wholeheartedly. Good plays lead to more good plays. And bad plays can lead to more bad plays. I liked the idea of the DBO sign. The usage? Not so much.
-
Bring up the worst case scenario so you can fret over it. Not how I would do it. But hey, it's a free world. There is another path as well. Wilks, McAdoo and the team progress througout the year. By years end we are a feared team. Use our draft capital to draft our QB. Let the Kid and Corral duke it out. Winner winner, chicken dinnerr.
