Catcrave 4 QBs if panthers drop out of top 10
Gerry Green replied to raleigh-panther's topic in Carolina Panthers
What if, now hear me out. What if Corral comes in, after a year of learning, and impresses? Minshew, then Corral, and Richardson to the Practice Squad? Or do we keep 3 QBs? God I love this game. -
Could be a multitude of reasons. I'll try and ask him for you?
-
THE Sam Bradford, and Glennon? You are using them as examples of quality QBs? I guess we are going to disagree with this. Considering there are 5 more games to win. We'll just have to see how this all plays out.

Hey, I don't have all the answers. You guys gotta pull your weight as well. lol If all that happens. Sam will have been the QB. Why shouldn't he continue in that role next year? Provided we can afford to keep him. IF he plays that well, he might want a decent contract. Continue to develop Corral. Maybe draft another one as well. It all sounds good on the surface. -

Wilks is 3-4. If we win the division, he will most certainly have a winning record. Then we curb stomp the Cowboys, but lose a close one at Philly? Can we then think about Wilks? Give THIS team a quality QB, and we may be quite competitive. -
I think my statement stands on its own. He has been given dog poo for QBs. Makes it difficult to judge his actual HC ability. No coach can win, or win enough to make the Huddle happy, without a quality QB. Sam is as close as he's come. Seems disingenuous to judge him harshly considering what he's been dealt. Give the guy a real shot. Then see if he can get even more out of this team. Edit to add. Also, I am far from the only one that has this belief.

Look at the QBs the guy has been given.

QB Will Levis declaring for the NFL draft

I would do the same with Payton Thorne at Michigan State. Had a great season as a RS Soph, I was hoping he would improve this year so I could talk him up. But because of injury has dropped off this year. I hope he comes back with a vengeance next year. -
Per usual, you guys have been great. I love my visits. Almost always leave with a smile. So I thank the lot of ya.
-
Yada yada yada. Put a good to great QB on this team and all the negativity will go away. Just because you want it to be true, does not make it so,
-
You actually believing that this team lacks talent just shows that the tankers will say anything to make themselves feel better. Why should anyone listen to anything you say after that? You want a top pick so bad you have created this myth in your head. I was going to say, this myth in your mind. But I just couldn't.

I thought he was much better than that other guy folks like. But hey, I'm not going to cry, but man, I would love him in the 2nd. Nah, he is definitely a 5th. Sorry.

I like that kid from that one school. It's really sad no one is talking about him.

Dan Graziano: Panthers interested in Frank Reich

My dark horse is Scott Turner. He's been around the game his whole life. He probably has a ton of ppl to draw from, so he may be able to put together a solid staff. -
In before; Damn look at that grade for Burns. Shoulda made that trade.
-
He also came into an entirely new type of Offense for him. He'd never been asked to throw from the pocket before. He said it took him a few games into the season before he started getting comfortable. By all accounts he has truly been a great teammate. And very coachable. I know, I was surprised myself. I was excited to get him. But I was also extremely wary. Looks/acts like a different kid.

Quote ‘DJ needs to catch the balls when thrown to him’

TMjr has taken a huge leap forward this year. But let's just bag on him cuz after all. He is a Panther, and we did lose. -
When a team can stack the box because it doesn't fear your QB, it bogs our whole Offense down. Can't run, can't play action. It's just meet me at the QB. If you can't throw the ball well enough to back the LBs up. You're going to have a bad day.

Me thinks the OP started this thread just to have something to bitch about with lie-minded folks. Oh, and no one thinks Foreman is better than CMC. C'mon man. Double Oh, Terrance has shown that he may have the ability to become a very good WR. Put a reliable QB and play caller on this team and we are competitive. I know, I know, that doesn't fit your narrative,

That would be sweeter than Tennessee Whiskey

That may be the purpose of a normal forum. This one? Not even close. The Cocks have an iffy Oline, and a semi-bad OC. Rattler is a big reason they are in the position they are in now. But most Huddlers only know him from OU, so they are biased. The kid has had a good year and has been a great teammate. Or at least that is what I have heard and read. As a Gamecock fan, I hope he stays one more year. Help build the program and get Beamer some added umph in recruiting.

The LA Rams are 3-7…. We had their second round pick this year

If you complain about everything, like a whole lot of ppl do, odds are you are going to be right once in a while. It's a law. -

lol I love this place. The Shoulda, Coulda, Woulda crowd definitely are entertaining. The Huddle "We are not a destination for a good coach. Let's trade 2 of our best players. That should help. By the time all those draft picks make the team. That shiny new coach may be gone from all the losing. Half you guys are stuck in the past. And the other half is in worst case scenario for the future. Sure make reading this place fun.
