Anybody else feel their IQ dropping?
-
Oh sweetie, the short bus doesn't go where you live does it?
-
Yupperz. There's a real possibility that we go from "Keep Pounding" to "Please don't pound our QB". lol
-
I said "May not see his second contract". Because he's wee. I gotta go. But we have two more days of this, so I'll finish this up with you at a later date.
-
But here's the deal. We all don't know Bryce is the pick. Only the Brycers have called the winner. Until the name is actually announced. I'm going to hold out hope this staff didn't waste all those resources on a QB who may not even get to his second contract. IMO, those odds are not worth the #1 pick.
-
Now that's rough. I can do a million short jokes. But there's not much in CJs game you can say the same about.
-
There is one huge reason the Texans won't draft him at 2. Because we took him at 1. lol
-
I don't think he is the only one thinking that way. Ppl go out of their way to throw shade at CJ. It's okay. He's a big boy. He can take it.
-
Now you're just being provocative. There is absolutely no proof that CJ will be a 1 read QB for us.
-
If there is any QB sneaking done this year. It will be done by Dalton. Ain't no way in Hades Frank lets Bryce try any QB sneaks. lol But you know who can do a QB sneak? CJ.
-
So what you're saying is; It's going to take some time to transition to a shorter line for Bryce to see over? You know, I can think of another way around this dilemma. Draft CJ. He doesn't have any trouble seeing over the Oline. lol Having a vertically challenged QB does present its own set of unique, to him anyway, challenges.
-
My big bold prediction? This kid from that one school is rising. Meanwhile, that other kid is falling. And no matter what happens, there will be folks saying it was stupid. Oh, and Jayden Reed from Michigan State is the best all-around WR in the class. And he has more return TDs than anyone else on the planet. Come on CJ.

Wilson took part in the Combine. Young pretty much skipped it. Young never ran, and only threw at his Pro Day. Wilson has good speed. Young has average speed. Wilson has a good arm. Young has an average arm. Wilson has good athleticism. Young is average. Wilson has 2" and 20 LBs on Young. With all that, Wilson went in the 3rd. And there are folks that want Young at #1? Maybe we can transition towards a shorter Oline. One the Young can see over. After all, low man wins.

I know this is a lot to ask. But...is there anyway you can teach the wife some of your frugal ways? Just like the Huddle, she doesn't listen to me. lol

When you are trying to convince yourself to take the shortest QB in the Modern Era of the NFL. You have to find faults in the competition. Hopefully our staff can see past that ruse. -

Well...if he can't see them, at least he won't be able to stare down WRs. lol -

Exactly. If you take Bryce, you have to mold the Offense to him. If you take Stroud. You just plug him in and go. -

So does Stroud. Except he wears big boy pants when he plays. -

Now Young has a strong arm. My god the legend grows every day. -

I would rather have a QB I don't have to worry about every time he gets tackled. I want a QB that can complete 70% of his passes. I don't care how he does it. I want a QB that if he doesn't make it to his second contract doesn't cost us all those resources. I want Stroud. An honest to goodness stand in the pocket and carve you up QB. -

Throwing blind? Can you imagine this place when that eventually comes back to bite him? Just another reason to take Stroud. -

I will rail against him until we draft him. Then I will just make fun of him for the 3 or so years he's in the league. Then I will go back to hating him. Edit to add; If by the grace of all that's holy, he lasts for 5 or more years? I will still make fun of him. But he had better bring a SuperB owl. Or it was a waste of resources.
