Anybody else think we are putting to much on Bryce's plate?

lol I'm done with this joke. It's played out. You just keep playing that 8 track and enjoy your time. -

And for some strange reason you refuse to see the mounds of information directed at you that claims Myles can be an every down back. Strange, nobody but you brings up CMC. We know he isn't. But we do know he can play the RB position a whole lot better than you give him credit for. -

You have been given information that shows Myles has become a reliable receiver, by showing his drop rate has improved dramatically. But hey, keep playing that PFF card. And Swift is as soft as they come. Duce couldn't get him on the field if he had ANY injury. Runs out of bounds instead of fighting for that 1st down. You don't know what he did for the Lions last year do you? You are going by college not his pro career. lol Your version of Myles only exists in your head. Edit to add; Myles was the best RB on the market. We got him at a fair price. And Bryce will be happy to have Myles next to him. -

Good stuff. This seems to confirm that Myles can be a 3 down back. Wonder how @CRA will spin this? -
The kid has played football his entire life. A few extra snaps in a meaningless preseason game or 2 is not going to make much of a difference. He'll get plenty of work in. No need to put him out there just for us fans.

Never a dull moment I tell ya what.

Yupperz. Between classroom work, film study, practices, joint practices, working with other DBs, there's lots of work JC can put in without having to play much in preseason.

You do this all the time. You state something, then when called on it, you just tell them to go looking. If you are using something, show your work. I mean, you are one of the most negative Huddlerz out there. The least you can do is actually show what you are talking about. Or do you just expect us to take what you say on faith? -
Whatever gets you to sleep at night.

I mean, that sounds like a good plan. But let's face it, QBs are just going to get more. It just puts more pressure on drafting the right guys in the first place. You may not be able to keep all of your home-grown talent, but if you draft well, you can at least keep the cupboards from getting bare.

Until a QB pay scale gets worked out. Or the Cap goes up to account for those larger salaries. I'm afraid teams are going to have to find ways to cut costs. Last year the WRs got lesser contracts, and this year it's the RBs. The Cap was supposed to help level out the field. All it has really done is muddy up the waters. Putting a Cap on the QB pay scale would make it easier to even out the spoils. But I wouldn't hold my breath on it happening.

I see that woulda, coulda, shoulda season is still in full bloom. Come on Training Camp. -
That's the thing with Trolls. Too busy with the next hot take to actually take 15 seconds to do a quick Google search. But, I guess if I was a Troll, I wouldn't care about being fact checked anyway. So...nevermind.

I am truly surprised nobody has yet to claim we overpaid.

Did we get hoodwinked on Miles Sanders

Swift's biggest problem was the fact whe wouldn't play if he had any sort of injury. Second biggest problem was running out of bounds instead of fighting for those extra yards. Duce got fed up, and now Swift is looking for work. A talented kid who should have picked a safer sport. Maybe Badminton would have been a better choice. -

You can't please everyone. I mean these guys have pretty much done business this way since they started. They wanted someone, so they got em. I'm good with that. Edit to add; I know Myles may have gotten more that some may have wanted. But it wasn't so much to be getting upset over. Especially before the actual games start. -

First you say it hasn't worked in the Modern Era, now you are adding running teams. Who cares? All that matters is that teams with Rookie QB and 1st year Head Coaches can make the Playoffs. Isn't that the goal? Isn't that what we all want? Why does that seem to scare ppl? This is the time of year to be optimistic. Most fans couldn't care less about what the odds are. They are just excited for what's coming down the pike. And just nod and smile at the Temper your Expectations crowd. -
IMO, it all comes down to Bryce. This team is set up to compete IF Bryce can play at the level most feel he is capable of playing. If he even sniffs ROY we should be able to compete with almost anyone. Of course, there is a possibility that he doesn't quite hit those numbers which should still make us better than last year. Fingers crossed we get good Bryce. Cuz that would obviously make this year much more interesting.

The ONLY concern with Bryce is can he stay healthy. And so far in his career that has never been a concern. So, fingers crossed that trend continues.
