Monday Panthers Practice - Pads go on today!
Gerry Green replied to Zod's topic in Carolina Panthers
It saves on the stress if you generally only respond to posters you actually want to converse with. Let the rest just roll off your back. Otherwise, you are wasting precious moments that cannot be replaced. Unless you're having fun, then have at it. -
Monday Panthers Practice - Pads go on today!
Gerry Green replied to Zod's topic in Carolina Panthers
Just act like most other folks when they get called out. Ignore, deflect, and move on. There are a bunch of folks that have been here almost since day one that have never had to apologize for a mistake because they ignore, deflect, then move on. lol -
Yeah, I think we all would love more coverage. Seems counterintuitive to me. The fans want to get excited. Why not give them something to be excited about? I mean, sure, if you want to work on something in private go ahead. But for just this normal practice stuff? Why not give us something?
-
You can quantify it however you like. (That was a tad harsher than I had intended. Sorry bout that. The fact is, there is very little the Oline can do in the way of Pass Protection while they practice in shorts. Nobody wants any injuries in a glorified practice. Once the pads come on, then the actual fun starts. Edit to add; Also, they are subbing in a lot with the Oline right now. There is no set pattern for reps yet. They are just getting guys work nothing more.
-
C'mon man. You know Defenses have the edge when they aren't in pads. The Oline can't do much more than get in their way.

There HAS to be someone in your life that can give you a hug. Anyone?

That thought has been running through my mind lately. Frank has aided Fitt in changing the culture. Smarts is an asset. Teamwork is a mantra. Ex players that can coach existing players willing to be coached. Frank is actually doing what our last coach promised. And it didn't take 7 years. lol If Bryce even sniffs ROY? Get your travel agent on speed dial. Fingers crossed Short story long. I've been a Lions fan for mmphg years. It's the same there as it is here. The future looks bright. And it's been too dang long gone. For Detroit last year. Every play was Duce and his Offense against Glenn and his Defense. I guess when the coaches take it personal, the players do as well. Every play was an opportunity to gloat. It was contagious. And the whole team took on that attack mentality. If Duce and Evero can come close to replicating that? Because I don't know if Evero is a talker or not. But, with the young talent we have? I don't care what anyone says. This could be fun right from the git go. Because Duce loves to TALK. lol Thanks if you read all of this midnight ramblings. Edit to add; All that was just to say that Duce is going to energize his Offense. You folks want Offense. Just you wait.

TBF, that's pretty much the definition of being a fan. lol

Anybody else think we are putting to much on Bryce's plate?

I just proved you're petty enough to keep score on interwebz debates. Have you even convinced one person that Miles ain't it yet? I'll wait. -

Certainly glad ol @CRA has you to White Knight for him. Or are you just stuck on me? -

Oh, snap. At least I'm smart enough not to use PFF to make a point basically nobody but you believes. This thread has gone so badly for you it has dissolved into you throwing lame insults at me. Now that's funny, I don't care who you are. You can continue to undervalue Miles. I don't care anymore. Coming from one of the most negative posters around. Does it really hold much weight? -

What a hoot. You sure like throwing out that ol' "You can't read" trope don'tcha? Kind of ironic coming from someone who has pretty much ignored every stat he's been given. OMG zero drops but suck at their job. Spin that poo boyo. Just like an 8 track. Same songs over and over and over again. But hey that's you. Repeat the same trope over again until folks just finally leave the thread. I know it sucks the Panthers did Bryce wrong. But it is what it is until it isn't anymore. -
Now I may be wrong, but can't you still return those short kicks? Edit to add; I do realize that those short kicks are shorter and higher than the average kick. So it may not be as easy to return those as it may seem to me.

And what do we call a person that time after time ignores the fact that last year Miles only had 2 drops? And there are a lot of Huddlerz who can't wait to see what Blackshear can do. So we do have options. Options lots of ppl are happy about. Just not you. -

That's a whole lot of work to do just to sound superior. And once again I'll say. "Oh no, mrcompletlynuts has insulted me". How will I ever live down the shame. Dweeb. -

Yeah, cuz I was the only one hoping for good things with Baker. Are you going to call out everyone that thought we may have a shot with Baker? Or is that just for me? Because right now it's just you and @mrcompletley nuts who are in the "We done Bryce wrong" club. You do you, make outlandish claims, then deflect until they go away. -

Well hope springs eternal. However, it won't make the RB you seem to want suddenly show up. Oh no, the Humanity. -

2 drops is now considered struggling? You sure can spin things to fit your narrative can'tcha? You are stuck in the past. Come on and join the rest of us in the present. -

So, I changed my mind. Glad that seems to upset you so. Oh, and I said it once, not 3 times. If you are going to try to insult someone, at least get your facts straight. Resorting to pooing on posts again? lol How will I ever live down the shame. -

He had 2 drops last year yet you claim he is next to last according to PFF. That should tell you all you need to know about PFF. If 2 drops is too many for your liking, I think maybe you should rethink your rating system. -
Being right about Laviska does not make him right about Myles. Hellz Bellz, everyone wants Laviska to get his touches. Does that make all of us wrong about Myles?

That sounds like Myles may actually know how to catch a football after all. Who'd a thunk it? lol
