  1. One of Bryce's biggest improvements: stepping up in the pocket instead of going backwards.
  2. Probably says more about our WRs not being able to separate than it does Bryce Young actually being aggressive.
  3. Exactly it. Panthers have gotten better, but we're simply at too much of a scheme and talent disadvantage. What we do worst (defend the run) is what we the Eagles are best at (run the ball). We also don't have an obvious weakness or advantage that we can depend on. Eagles have the defensive line to bottle our run game and none of our WRs can win on an island vs their CBs. This is the kind of game where it will be really difficult to blame the HC for how things go. Obviously try not to lose by 50, but I'm just not sure you can reasonably expect us to keep this game close.
  4. If you include Week 8, he drops to 13th in offensive grade and 11th in passing grade. Still pretty solid.
  5. Right now? Probably Jameis, but his turnovers make it a hard choice. Very hard to win games when you turn it over at the rate that he does, so depending on the team you might prefer someone who can manage the game as Bryce has been doing. If I was a team like the Lions I'd probably prefer Bryce. Just manage the game, don't try and be crazy. Jameis can't do that, that isn't who eh is.
  6. Even if those 2 turn into good players, the rest of his picks/decisions have been so damn bad it doesn't even matter.
  7. Philly's defense is great and they run the ball a lot and control the TOP (and they certainly will vs us - this is a big mismatch), so even if Bryce is at his best, I doubt he would have a chance to crack 300 passing yards. Be damn impressive if he does though, but it all just depends on volume, efficiency, and most importantly... not turning the ball over.
  8. I'm all for it. Graham and Brown together would destroy offenses.
  9. PFF has him at 5 drops, a drop % of 13.2%, 14th highest among WRs with at least 100 snaps.
  10. I mean... having good hands is pretty important for a WR. It is absolutely worth discussing. I'm not giving up on him, but I very much question if he can be a reliable #1 WR. Bad hands isn't something you fix overnight when you have already been playing football for so long and are 23 years old. Obviously he's good enough to be someone you try to get the ball to. But if he can't fix the drops then a #1 WR is still a need for this team. There is no reason he should be getting outplayed by Adam Thielen.
  11. We literally got screwed on that Thielen TD. So I can't even call it missed opportunities. We took advantage of an opportunity and the referees took it away from us.
  12. Lol? I'm not 100% sold that Bryce has turned it around for good either but that was a good throw, especially considering he has to rush it because of the clock.
  13. If there is any reason to be optimistic about this team going forward, it is the offensive line IMO. What an improvement there, easily the most improved unit on the team from 2023 to 2024
  14. Sucks Sanders got hurt. He was putting in work and I think he would have helped us out a lot in the red-zone last week and today.
  15. I'm just happy he's playing and LOOKING confident. It is one thing to play bad, but keep the spirits up at all times. You have to for the fans if nothing else. And that has been the biggest difference in his play IMO. He's playing care-free. He's playing like he feels he belongs.
