Manageable for a good offense, sure.

I would do anything to get rid of my feeling of obligation to watch the Panthers.

Why? No team is trading anything for a player that his own team already gave up on. Trey Lance "only" went for a 4th round pick. Darnold only went for what he did because we are a bad organization. No other team would have traded a 2nd and 3rd for Darnold. Baker went for a conditional 5th. There is no reason to trade Bryce. You let him either prove he's worth what you traded for him or he continues to suck and guides us to a top-3 pick in 2025. It makes no sense to trade him regardless of what anyone thinks about Bryce.

This is the worst slate of early games I have ever seen in my life. Jags/Texans is the only game with good QBs in it.

We'd be better off just riding it out another year. If Bryce is actually as bad as some people think he is, then we should be picking top-3 in 2025 anyway and can get a QB then. No reason to make any more short-sighted decisions. Just keep riding it out.

IMO he is going to work out if he goes to a team with stability already in place. Too good of a talent. Let a guy like Sean McVay or KOC work with him with those receivers and boy oh boy. Unfortunately for Caleb, those types of teams don't pick in the top 3. I could be wrong here but he strikes me as someone that when the going gets tough, he's not going to rebound as well as others would/will. Especially when it isn't just losing games but him not putting up the big numbers he's used to in college.

Because we sucked and needed something. Quite frankly Cam Newton's return is probably the only thing that has happened for us in the last 3 years that was worth giving a damn about (in a positive way).

I haven't watched many Commanders games, but it is worth mentioning that Sam Howell leads the NFL in pass attempts by a crazy amount (442 pass attempts; next closest is Josh Allen at 382). That's like a 2 (sometimes 3) game difference. So it would make sense he would be high up there for drops by receivers.
