  1. I mean... is there any doubt about this? The way Canales talks about Bryce Young is not the way a HC talks about a QB they really like as a player. Canales is 100% out on Bryce barring an unforeseen turnaround.
  2. Damn. I need more beer before the 1pm games. WHY OVERTIME
  3. LMAO people didn't think Burns would get a sack
  4. No Ikem vs the best pass rushing team in the NFL? With no pocket for Bryce to step in to because of arguably the best interior DL in the NFL, Dexter Lawrence? Giants win comfortably IMO. Look at how hype the Panthers were to win last week. That was enough for them. The Panthers have struggled against mobile QBs this year too. Guys who can extend the play. Bo Nix, Marcus Mariota, Caleb Williams. Panthers have struggled against all QBs this year to be honest, but those guys in particular did the best statistically. Expect a big game from Danny Dimes, Nabers, and Tyrone.
  5. Bryce is a bad QB at the pro level, but you don't make it to the NFL at his size without some kind of work ethic.
  6. I'm not a fan of this. But I will say this: we have spent years and years getting rid of our better players. It might be worth it to keep one guy the fans can root for.
  7. I hate Bryce Young's sideline demeanor
  8. It took me a whole lot longer to give up on Matt Rhule than it has taken me for Canales.
  9. Canales' 3rd down play-calling is EXTREMELY CONCERNING
  10. Horrible hit from Xavier Woods. No defending that.
  11. I have a feeling Bryce cooks today 320 passing yards, 3 passing TDs, 30 rushing yards, 0 turnovers. Jalen Coker and Xavier Legette break 100 each. Panthers lose 41-34 after starting the game down 38-0.
  12. Will Tepper clean house after the season?
  13. I'm not convinced that the NFL is any better or worse at developing QBs now than they were 20 years ago. I mean I'm sure there are some developmental issues at play, just not sure it is any different than it has been. The biggest difference IMO is that NFL teams are waaaaaaaay more willing to invest a 1st round pick into a QB now than they were 15-20 years ago. A guy like Colin Kaepernick would probably be a top 5 pick in 2025, whereas he went in the 2nd in 2011. Would a guy like Trey Lance go top 3 in 2010? Hell no. Look at Russell Wilson - he didn't go until the 3rd round. The standard for being a 1st round QB has dropped. So it may seem like we're seeing more high-profile busts at the position, but we're also seeing teams reach for QBs way more than they have in the past. Someone with Anthony Richardson's college resume doesn't go in the top 3 20 years ago.

    CJ Stroud

Jets pass defense is hard on almost all QBs. Stroud this year is still 66%, 11 TDs, 4 INTs, and over a 90 QB rating. Not as great as he was last year, but a sophomore slump in a year where a lot of offenses have regressed isn't a cause for concern.
