This will be unpopular, but other replay angles show Burnsy making contact with Jacoby's helmet. I can take that one. The fake spike was intentional grounding and you wont convince me otherwise. 10 second runoff leaves them with 3 seconds or so and they have a timeout waiting. Homeboys 58 yd FG looked like it would have been good from 70+. Call it what you want but the team Shi+ the bed for 3 quarters and never should have been in that position.

Person says the Panthers will win this one

I was more referring to the 18 missed tackles. That's outrageous -

As long as Dj, Robbie, and Shi have the energy i say give them a majority of the snaps. I think they're the best 3 we have and all 3 are explosive. -

I am trying to manifest a competent rush defense. -

I don't think we'll see Saquon run wild. I think last week was a fluke and they'll tighten up going forward -
There was only 1 bad low snap that was on Elflein. Baker dropped 2 or 3 in the gun
-
Short or not if he fumbles one more snap I want to see Pat Elflein mule kick him
-
There are great athletes on defense. A Weak LB core is really hurting us. That and the fact Phil Snow is the equivalent of Rookie mode for opposing OC's
-
I would like to see more Blitzes for Chinn. He's a very big very athletic safety and can help contain Saquon in the run game. Our DBs are very good and if the run game is kept in check then they'll control the game
-
They certainly do. I would like to see McCall get in there against the run. He's a big body and takes up some space. Someone besides Burnsy needs to get into the back field

Would you go to a parade if the Panthers went 0-17?
Coreyl90 replied to Carl Spackler's topic in Carolina Panthers
If the parade was led by Matt Rhule on foot and the price of eggs drop drastically between now and then i would attend. -
If we see the same qb-c exchange issue early on Sunday i could see Bozeman getting a shot. If the defense is porous and gives up big plays to Saquon then I believe Matt Rhule will be pressured to move Snow to a position coach. I would be ecstatic to see Steve Wilks get the reigns again

Go watch the Offensive Breakdown. The o-line performed well. Ickey held his own. This OL is and will be a very solid unit
-
After watching this I feel much better about the o-line. If Baker can keep his feet still then this offense will be great. All the pieces are there. Lets hope the powers that be can put it all together
-
Elf is just the martyr this week. 4 fumbled snaps aside he's not that bad guys come on lol.The eyes should be on Icky as he was the worst performer of the day. They'll get it together. I hope
-
They'll tighten up. Just hope it comes very soon

Who's seat is warmer - Phil Snow or Mike Siravo?
Coreyl90 replied to Coreyl90's topic in Carolina Panthers
When you scheme a collegiate nickel defense against pro's this is what happens. I cant believe David Tepper is standing back watching Matt Rhule fill the staff and roster full of Temple/Baylor guys. You KNOW they have to be a big joke to everyone else in the league. Tepper can set up in the press box pissed off like the rest of us until he starts throwing some weight around. -
Missed FG or not they still gave up over 200 yards on the ground. Their last go ahead possession we watched them not even try for a TD and instead ran against a stacked box until Pinero kicked the FG. Down by 2, and Rhule only wanted 3. I would have preferred at least a shot at 6/7. No way that CLE offense was going to drive the length of the field and score a TD

Coreyl90 replied to Coreyl90's topic in Carolina Panthers
I believe Tepper was behind some of the coaching changes this offseason. If Rhule is told to pick himself or Snow then i think we see Phil unemployed. -
Officially they credited 4 fumbles to Baker

Tepper is a business man, obviously. I don't see him firing Matt Rhule and giving away $44 million to start another rebuild. Unfortunately i think we are stuck with him for 4 more years. -

Coreyl90 replied to Coreyl90's topic in Carolina Panthers
If, for example, Steve Wilks was promoted back to DC there would be some legit experience controlling both sides of the ball. (McAdoo isn't great but he's better than Rhule with the offense) As long as Snow is still in town he will continue being Rhule's puppet -

If Rhule fires Snow or Siravo it may add a week to his employment, but the end is inevitable for him if these L's keep coming. -

Unfortunately that's probably the case with Siravo too. However, if Rhule does man up and makes changes with either of those guys i will respect it.
