Dunno about that bro. This is the same coaching staff that saw pieces of Darnold's brains being pushed back into his head on the sideline, and a shoulder that was kept together with bubble gum and Band-Aids but was miraculously cleared to play a few days before the game. I don't really trust this coaching staff with those decisions as much after witnessing that.

Carolina Panthers agree to terms with Cam Newton.

Jesus Christ I about had a laughing fit over this. Why is this so god damn funny? -
I honestly see Zach Wilson as Clausen 2.0, or hell, maybe even a Clausen clone. Dude even looks just like him to me, both No. 2, yadda yadda

As I said in a previous thread; Cam coming back to the Panthers is similar to Russians reviving the Soviet Union, the Turks reigniting the glory days of the Ottoman Empire. In our hearts, it is a deep yearning and longing to see the magic of what once was. In our minds, we know it may not be the best idea and we could re-live exactly what it was the lead to the dismantling of it all in the first place. Having said that, it would be a major emotional response to see Cam in a Panthers uniform again. We would all cheer him on excitedly and hope that he can overcome the odds.

We need to have Daniel Bryan come out the tunnel first with the "Ride of the Valkyries" theme saying YESSS! YESS! YESSS!!!! YESSS!!!!! -

Never understood why newbs went out of their way to argue with Mr. Scott. Its always the dudes with barely any posts that attack him and question his knowledge so intensely. But whatever.

He is a very wise one.

Cam said it himself, as well as there already being speculation about it. Basically, he said that he knew he would bring a large amount of distraction and media circus to any team that signed him, even (or maybe especially) if he was a backup. He has been pretty unfairly hated and ridiculed throughout his entire career.

The real answer; both. A great QB with a great o-line only makes the other skill players seem that much better, even if they are mediocre.

There is all kinds of craziness going on in this story. Depending on the source, it makes it sound like Dalvin Cook beat this woman and kidnapped her and lots of other things. One source claimed that the woman was a "military sergeant" and entered Cook's garage while he had company (female company) by using a garage door opener that she obtained without his permission. She then tried to extort him for millions somehow (its unclear if she sprayed him with the mace and then demanded money immediately or if she did this earlier or later). This can be interpreted in a couple of ways. I will say it again and I am POSITIVE I will get some dumbass comment (again) like "oh yea immediately blame it on the woman" but many of these players have their lives and careers ruined over the females they choose to get involved with. We all know athletes aren't usually the smartest dudes in the world. Mix that with the fact that they are known to be worth millions and it attracts a lot of unwanted attention.

Better question, who the hell would pay a coach $7 million after he was fired due to a final poor performance against the team you beat him with? *Cough cough*

Darnold Fractured Scapula on throwing shoulder
cardiackat88. replied to ncfan's topic in Carolina Panthers
I have answered with this in like 5 different threads now: "I was pretty sure that was what he was going to do for the last game. But, no. We got a Rivera flashback and Sam was suddenly cleared out of nowhere even though is shoulder was ripped off and pieces of his brain were still floating around scrambled." And: "I honestly kinda got Rivera flashbacks when Sam was seemingly suddenly ready to go after having his bell rung and his shoulder nearly torn off. McCaffery as much as a game changer he is, really should have been super eased back into the role and used as a major decoy. I was expecting the game to mainly be a bunch of handoffs to Hubbard." -
Why we will upset on Sunday

I considered making a similar thread but keeping it within reality. This is from a previous thread I posted in, but this is like the third time I've posted it this week: The Panthers Are currently on a 5 game win streak and are 13-5 all time. 8-3 on the road 5-2 at home. https://www.panthers.com/history/series/carolina-vs-arizona -
Scott Fiterer - mid season grade

It may not be all his fault but it just feels like the same old poo over and over and over and over and over. 1. WAY overpay players who then get hurt and/or underperform. 2. Give said players an extremely long contract extension under the deal. 3. Don't draft any help for the offensive line. 4. Use FA to address the o-line with players who were never very good to begin with. 5. Pay these FAs way more than their market value. -
CMC just got activated and Sam cleared the protocols.

I posted this in another thread, and considered posting similar when I initially opened this thread but I didn't want to get pooped out of the forum: I honestly kinda got Rivera flashbacks when Sam was seemingly suddenly ready to go after having his bell rung and his shoulder nearly torn off. McCaffery as much as a game changer he is, really should have been super eased back into the role and used as a major decoy. I was expecting the game to mainly be a bunch of handoffs to Hubbard. -
Which trade was worse 2nd for Darnold or 3rd for Henderson?

I dunno. I think it would hurt way worse to hand us the game and eff up draft position again.
