This is a linemen issue as well. Plenty of short qbs don’t get passes batted. Aaron Rodgers had multiple on one drive against the giants.

nah, russel is lucky to have been on a seahawks team with a beast RB, great receivers, a coach that schemed around him and one of the best defenses in recent memory. Honestly worst thing baker did in that game was sail some easy passes. Some plays looked like miscommunication with him and the receiver. Or the receiver not taking an angle on a route that he should have. (He called it playing like a robot instead of a football player). watching this Thursday night game it seems a lot offenses are playing like trash this year. No surprise the ones playing the best offense are the most successful right now. And there’s only a few.

This. Back in the olden days when games were cheap you can have more loyal fans. But here in Chicago it’s $300 for a seat that isn’t in the nosebleeds to watch a team that can barely move a ball. It’s almost a grand to go to a game with one other person.

I think it was 100% nerves. He's on a new team, he is the most talked about player in the NFL (literally trending on twitter everyday), He has his baker bros but he also has his irrational haters. Probably let the pressure get to him. I think he'll calm down.

The skinny of the situation is this.. baker played like poo and still did what he had to do to win the game. Burrow threw 4 picks, rodgers didnt do poo. Tom brady won but his stats werent that amazing. Kyler murray looks like garbo, Dak was hot trash, stafford was horrible. Outside of burrow Baker is the only qb that had a bad game and still gained the lead on a good defense. You should probably focus on fixing the rest of the team before having a qb carousel because you could have swapped out almost any qb with baker and the results probably would have been the same. Outside of maybe lamar because he can run for his life every play...
