Teams not in the playoff should just refuse to play in their meaningless bowl games to hurt the NCAA in the only area they care about, their wallet. The fact that there is no NFL associated minor league or a legitimate alternative path to the NFL besides college football is crazy. Why is it possible for every other professional sport but not football? Imagine if super talented kids could come straight from high school into some kind of developmental league that actually taught them NFL football. Oh yeah, and actually pay them. Instead you have to play college ball where half of what you could be learning will never translate to the NFL. We hear it every year come draft time that some player is great, but the system or style they played in college won’t translate to the NFL level.

I wonder how much input Evero had on the personnel brought in this past offseason. Feels like Fitts signed quite a few guys that don’t really fit his defensive scheme what so ever. I mean we all already know this exact same sentiment was proven 100% true on the offensive side of the ball. Fitt should have been the first the first domino to fall. The fact he still has a job is crazy.

I’ll give you Washington because they just traded away their top two guys they spent first rounders on. Luckily they still have two top 20 picks on the interior. Saints had to let Davenport walk because they wanted to sign Derek Carr and needed all the cap space they could get to do so. They also developed Carl Granderson nicely which made letting Davenport walk a much easier decision. Granderson clears everyone we have outside of Burns. The Bears knew Just adding Yannick wasn’t going to cut it so they traded for Sweat. The fuging 49ers are stacked and still traded for Chase Young (Yes I understand they’re doing what ever they can to win now) What have the Panthers done to help opposite Burns?

Name me a single team who’s edge rushers outside of the top guy are as bad as the Panthers.

The team has actually signed vet DTs and LBs the past few season and yet the only edge help we’ve signed was Reddick and the shell of Justin Houston to one year deals. Why have we not signed a competent edge to play opposite Burns is beyond me. They keep throwing mid to late round/udfa flyers out there and nothing is sticking. Burns has more sacks than every other edge rusher on the team combined. But yeah….. Burns sucks and our pass rush will be fine without him.

Saw this on Reddit a few days ago and could do nothing but laugh. Dead fuging last since Tepper took over. Sorry if this was already posted but figured it was worth another look since we lost again and Tepper fired another coach.

And that is still 15 to 20% less that what this offense does. I don’t think I can recall a single pass attempt from Bryce this season that came from under center. Play action passes from under center are an NFL staple for hitting big plays down field yet we haven’t seen it once from Bryce Young.

Oh idk maybe the fact that he’s to small to operate the passing game from under center. Over 90% of our offense comes out of the shotgun and that was never the case with any of Franks teams in Indy.

The offense is literally neutered because of Bryce young. 90% of the offense is run out of the shotgun which is just crazy at the NFL level. Are you telling me that you’ve watched Bryce young for 10 weeks and still think it’s a coincidence that Dalton put up our highest point and yardage total of the season? There have been teams much worse talent wise than this current panthers squad. Bryce Young on the other hand has been historically bad.

They’re both terrible products currently and have been for a while now. The 12 team playoff starting next season should help a ton.

Frank has 41 wins as an NFL head coach. Rhule has 11. Rhule has never even sniffed an ounce of success at the NFL level.

I’m not saying he’s some great head coach. Just pointing out the fact that people thinking Rhule was a better NFL head coach is a bit ridiculous.

Do you all really think a guy would be universally respected around the league just for being a nice guy? Frank may not but the best but he is an actual football coach. Matt Rhule is essentially a televangelist.

Same here. I actually saw some positives. D for being banged up held up for a bit before getting gassed like usual. Both Chuba and Miles ran hard. I saw WRs and TEs getting open. Of course I am still wanting to see something, fuging anything from Bryce Young. Unfortunately it was more of the same. I really feel like we need to bench Bryce and start Dalton for the rest of the season before firing Frank and see if anything changes. I don’t want to fire a coach just because the rookie QB the team drafted fuging sucks.

Talked about this all game day thread. Much like Not using Bryce to QB sneak because he’s to small, he’s also to short to operate the entire offense from under center.

The defense is probably fed up with this poo and I don’t blame them. Our offense could just punt on first down and yield the same results.

Our most successful offensive plays today have been the 3 runs that all came when Bryce was under center. Got down into the red zone, immediately went back to three straight shotgun snaps and ever one lost yards. It’s insanity.
