Donte isn’t a number 1 corner and I’m sorry to anyone who pays him like he is. -

Jesus looks like there is a disgusting amount of burgundy in the stands today. Hopefully they’re gone by halftime because Washington is getting blown out. -

TD ball giveaway is the best tradition Cam brought to this team. It needs to continue to be a thing long after he’s gone. Each ball given away creates a lifelong Panther fan. -
Also wanted to added that Cam has always been very dependent on getting into a rhythm. He used to start games kind of slow and then boom of a sudden he strings together 10+ completions in a row. I understand if Cam is still learning the playbook/offense but this doesn’t seem like it plays towards his strengths.

Are we talking normal NFL RB subs or the Panthers? If we go the Panthers route I’d say we’re looking at around 95% of the snaps for Cam and the other 5% for PJ. Seriously when McCaffrey is healthy, when was the last time they’ve employed a regular RB workload split?

Exactly. Don’t listen to a thing that comes out of Matt Rhules mouth. He’s full of poo 90% of the time. Just listen his his post game pressers. Guy will straight up say he doesn’t remember the final score. The bringing back of Cam was a Tepper move. It very much felt like a “I let you try it your way now let’s try mine.” Tepper even had Cam over to his home for dinner before he signed. I have a feeling Matt Rhule may have lost his ability to choose his quarterback.

You’re giving Rivera too much credit. Cam carried Rivera while Rivera held onto his coat tail for dear life dragging him down into the dirt while almost ending Cams career in the process. Rivera may know Cam the person really well but he is a new QB on our team running a totally new offense. Rivera won’t know anything about that. You also just describing turning Cam into a Taysom Hill type player. Uhhh no thank you.

The deep-ish ball to DJ moore that drew PI….
Eazy-E replied to electro's horse's topic in Carolina Panthers
Drop throws are all about timing and accuracy. The ball would have been right on the money but was thrown a bit late. Darnold’s deep passes almost always sailed to the sideline out of bounds. If we are having this conversation a month from now after Cam has had some practice time with his receivers then there may be cause for concern. -
Well the line had one of its best performances so far this season. Coincidence?

Damn that one went right over your head. Ever heard of sarcasm?

Cam and Robby Anderson Joint Press Conference
Eazy-E replied to Butterflyj30's topic in Carolina Panthers
Some players are just competitors and others are fine with getting a fat check and cashing it in the rest of their career. We should be glad Robby was getting pissed that we sucked even after getting paid. Sam Darnold almost cost him his career and a chance at a payday in New York and then we brought his as to Carolina. It's pretty evident that he was not happy about that. It is the same thing with Cam. He has made a ton of money but more than anything the guy just wants to win football games. Although does help and is nice to have, money isn't everything to everyone. -
The Cam Newton effect is real and it’s contagious.

DJax needs to be our FS

From all indications Darnold was a Rhule decision. Rhule’s entire shtick is finding lower tier players who have certain physical traits he deems important and developing them into average to above average football players. That’s how he was able to rebuild programs without having the type of recruitment larger, more popular schools have. Unfortunately he is now dealing with very wealthy young adults instead of broke 18 year old college students. That approach is not working for him in the NFL and it is hurting the team, but he’s been too damn stubborn to change his ways. looks like Tepper has had enough and he had to intervene. It’s time to let Fitterer do his job and Rhule just needs to stick to coaching. Hopefully the days of overpaying reclamation projects are behind us and we can start signing actual NFL talent.

I think Rhule and Brady got sucked into the Adam Gase QB killer mentality after seeing what transpired with Tannehill. They probably have giant coaching egos thinking they could turn Sam into a top 15 or 20 QB and have him another year for under 20million rather then having to pay him a new contract after they worked their magic and Sam balled the fug out. Welp, Rhule and Brady so far have shown they’re in over their heads and the college to NFL transition is much harder then they could have imagined. Sam Darnold also proved he sucks ass with or without Adam Gase and this entire situation backfired hilariously bad in their faces. You would have thought after Teddy they would have learned their lesson but their ego’s are too big and they put all the blame on Teddy. To be fair Teddy shot the blame right back at them. Tepper on the other hand has clearly had enough of their poo and seems to understand most fans have as well.

For the first time in my life and in Carolina Panthers history…
Eazy-E replied to Bronn's topic in Carolina Panthers
I like Cam the person and the football player. I didn’t care for Teddy or Darnold before they became Panthers and they sure as hell didn’t change my opinion of them as Panthers. Like I said in the main Cam thread, idc if he plays poorly or balls out, this team and organization are just more fun when he is apart of it. It just never sat right with me how it ended. Same went for Steve Smith. I’m happy and proud as a fan that they’re both back as a part of this franchise. I hope this is the last last stop for Cam and he retires a Panther like he and we all deserve. -
Idgaf either, we can cry together as men. Also the end had me on an emotional rollercoaster. Was totally unexpected and funny af.

Carolina Panthers agree to terms with Cam Newton.
Eazy-E replied to Zod's topic in Carolina Panthers
I don’t even care if he plays Like poo. I love Cam Newton and want him to retire a Panther. He deserves that after putting himself and his body on the line for this franchise for a decade. Welcome home you beautiful SOB. -
The Panthers….. not an attractive destination for top shelf talent?
Eazy-E replied to TheBigKat's topic in Carolina Panthers
Oh yeah and winning cures all. Right now we’re a loser franchise that’s never had back to back winning seasons. If it weren’t for Gettleman, Hurney, and Rivera this team would have probably maintained relevancy after 2015. -

Eazy-E replied to TheBigKat's topic in Carolina Panthers
Good lord you are dumb. Swap the Rams and Panthers rosters and Stafford chooses Charlotte every time. The guy is in his 30s and has never won a playoff game. Why would he ever choose a rebuilding team over a team that is built to win now? -
I’m not an auto mechanic but I still know how to rebuild a car engine and do most things a mechanic can do. Most people aren’t born with the athletic gifts to become professional athletes. Just because they’re not pro ball players doesn’t mean they don’t know what they’re talking about. Some fans understand offensive and defensive football concepts and can watch games and clearly see right and wrong / good and bad. Why do you think analytics have become so prevalent in sports. I mean people pay money for PFF for fugs sake. I could be the smartest football person out there but if I’m not a freak of nature athlete I’m never going to become a professional football player. There are plenty of NFL players that get by on nothing more than their athleticism and are dumber than a box of rocks when it come to understanding football. That’s why guys flame out all the time after getting drafted high because they blew people away at the combine but still can’t grasp their playbooks after 4 years.

So this was or wasn’t a hospital ball by Darnold?
Eazy-E replied to TheBigKat's topic in Carolina Panthers
Hate to knock DJ but if he was actually going 100% to sell his route he would have practically been in the end zone by the time that ball got to Robby. -
Luke looked average his rookie year when we had him playing outside linebacker. Once Beason went down and Luke moved inside, we all got to witness the GOAT being born. It’s great to see Shaq flourish in his new role.
