Could Panthers be trading for a kicker?
Eazy-E replied to TheSpecialJuan's topic in Carolina Panthers
Could this guy be the Giants version of Butker? -
Rhule and co are probably trying to hard to be big brain and don’t want any film of Darnold and our offense out there so come week one we unleash sole poo no one has seen on the Jets. Chances are this backfires and we come out looking sloppy and out of sync because our starting unit hasn’t played any meaningful snaps together.

Perspective, Directive, and Erective - The Panthers offensive woes and you
Eazy-E replied to Zod's topic in Carolina Panthers
Our depth is alarmingly bad. I'm expecting a lot of pick ups from other teams once final cuts happen. -
I’m mean the writing is on the wall. Melo, Miles, and Terry are the young core of this team. It’s not a coincidence they were all at summer league together with Borrego. JB got his extension, now Terry, and I’m sure Miles will get his soon as well. Hayward is that veteran rock a young team needs. You can almost bet the team is going to try and use PJ as the main trade piece at or before the deadline for a big man who can contribute significant minutes.

Would you rather have 2 average to slightly above average tackles or one Probowl RT and a Turnstile at LT?

Of all the comps I’ve seen thrown around I’m surprised no one has said Dez Bryant. They’re built almost identically and Dez was great throughout his career high pointing contested catches over DBs. Being a guy who will win you those 50/50 jump balls was one of Marshall’s biggest strengths coming out of the draft.

Damn that does not look like a guy who runs a 4.62 40. He burned someone a few days back for a nice 40ish yard TD. Darnold hit him in stride in the back of the end zone.

The funny thing is Plumlee and Kai are an upgrade over an Injury prone Cody Zeller and stone handed Biz.

Mitch Kupchak you beautiful son of a bitch!
-
Monk currently is a free agent and this team needs every bit of cap space to sign a starting Center. This was a fantastic value/pick.

He’s arguable the best pure scorer in the draft. He’s super explosive and has a nasty step back jumper.

Are you trolling?

Hornet Trade: Mason Plumlee and pick 37 for pick 57
Eazy-E replied to Shocker's topic in Charlotte Hornets
He is basically replacing Cody Zeller for much cheaper and we upgraded our second round pick in the process. Still not used to the Hornets making smart moves like this. -

They have Jets line rated higher because of adding one first round lineman. I guess they also forgot Becton couldn’t stay on the field either. -

People act like Russel Okung wasn’t injured for 90% of last season. Oh and we lost Chris Reed, big deal. We added two depth pieces and some rookies. Not sure how that equates to dropping to the second worst unit in the league when we had a middle of the pack line last season.- 73 replies

David Decastro was just released by the Steelers

Turner is done unless he commits to getting back in shape. Got paid and looked like he gained 20lbs each year after signing that contract. -
I’m guessing you will not be allowed to mix and match current and throw back gear.

5 strangest moves of the Carolina Panthers 2021 offseason so far
Eazy-E replied to SBBlue's topic in Carolina Panthers
I googled it and it was Denico Autry. He ended up signing for 3 years with the Titans. They ended up not resigning DaQuan Jones allowing us to sign him on a one year deal. Funny how things kind of just worked out. I doubt Fitt and Rhule wanted to give a 31 year old a multi year deal considering how young this team is. -

I thought we released Kerr thinking we were going to sign another DT (can’t remember the name off the top of my head) and the guy ended up signing with another team for more money/years. -
Still would have been a luxury pick. Olsen and Stew were both aging vets coming towards the ends of their contracts. We had just double dipped on Star and Short two years prior. Gettleman used our first pick in back to back drafts on our strongest positional groups on the team, Linebacker and Defensive tackle. A team in a Super Bowl window cannot afford to take guys with first round picks that you know have no chance of starting. That’s just terrible management.
