  1. I mean it was a dream for him to fall to 6. Don’t want any other defensive player.
  2. I’m on the Vogel train as well. He did a lot of good things with that Indiana team and should have made the finals if not for blatantly favorable officiating towards the Heat. He also had the balls to call out the officials and the Heat for being a bunch of cry baby floppers. Who ever we hire better have some deep playoff coaching experience.
  3. That's cool, just continue to ignore offensive tackle for the 14th year in a row.
  4. Yeah so what about his reputation for turning teams around and leading them to playoff victories? He developed our young players and then failed at almost everything after that. It was the correct decision to move on.
  5. Use our two first round picks and trade up to draft Jalen Duren. Favorite prospect in this draft and looks like a perfect fit for this Hornets roster.
  6. I’m sure he didn’t want to but he has worked really well with Mitch and obviously respects his opinions. MJ also lived this first hand as a player under Doug Collins and saw the change and improvements when moving to Phil Jackson. The future is bright for the Hornets. Wish I could say the same about the Panthers
  7. Would be a solid signing since we refuse to just move to a legit 3-4. Our DE depth sucks for a 4-3 defense.
  8. Yeah I saw those same statistics. They were from PFF. Willis: PFF grade rank: 4 PFF adjusted accuracy % rank: 31 PFF big-time throw % rank: 1 PFF turnover-worthy throw % rank: 26 BTT/TWT rank: 5 PFF clean pocket rank: 14 PFF under pressure rank: 5 ESPN rushing QBR rank: 1 2021 dropbacks: 455 Pickett: PFF grade rank: 1 PFF adjusted accuracy % rank: 4 PFF big-time throw % rank: 20 PFF turnover-worthy throw % rank: 14 BTT/TWT rank: 14 PFF clean pocket rank: 1 PFF under pressure rank: 16 ESPN rushing QBR rank: 9 2021 dropbacks: 581 Thanks to @Mr. Scot for linking these in a thread from a few weeks back.
  9. Seems like most people don’t care for billionaires, but if there is one group of people that are more universally hated it’d have to be politicians.
  10. At least we have Rod Brind’Amour who is one of the best coaches in the NHL.
  11. Rod came in and completely changed the Canes and turned them into a legit team. Crazy how much of an impact a good coach has.
  12. Back to back blow outs in the the biggest games of the year. That poo falls on the coach. Zero preparation, zero game plan. Borrego did nothing during half time while McMillan made adjustments and now we are getting blown out and getting 100 dropped on us in 3 quarters. Completely out coached and out classed.
  13. The coach needs to have some sort of half court offense or game plan in place that you can fall back on when shots aren't falling and the run and gun offense isn't working. Should have offensive sets in place to create easy shots so guys can see the ball go through the basket and build confidence. We have none of that.
  14. Great half time adjustments Borrego Lmao. What the fug does the guy do on gamedays?
  15. Every issue I have with Borrego is on full display tonight. He is not the answer.
  16. As do Lamelo and Miles. Our 3 best players are shitting the bed and have been basically non existent on offense and major liabilities on defense so far.
  17. I am about to turn this poo off. Can't watch another repeat of last year's playin game. Did Borrego even come up with a game plan for tonight, or are we just going to watch more street ball?
  18. Why the fug does it keep flashing the Bobcats logo on the score ticker?
  19. It lasted all of 2 minutes. Back to not knowing how to close out on shooters leaving guys wide open from 3.
  20. Why does this team hate Left Tackles? We are in prime position to finally draft one and fix a hole that has been present since Jordan Gross retired and some how the Panthers are going to find a way to fug it up. The Panthers haven’t drafted a tackle in the first round since Jeff Otah in 2008 and traded back into the first round to do so. I’d be willing to bet that is the longest stretch of any team in the league. I’ve never seen a team ignore such a glaring need for so long.
  21. It won’t ever happen because of how massive the sports betting market has become. Multi billion dollar industry isn’t going to leave things to chance. Technology keeps getting better and better and yet the percentage of blown / missed calls continues to increase. Sorry, but I don’t think the correlation between that and the growing sports betting market is a coincidence.
  22. So sad. I really hope it was not a hit and run and they have apprehended who ever did it. RIP.
  23. While the Panthers added some hopefully decent linemen in free agency, they have ignored the most important part of the offensive line, left tackle. The Panthers haven't drafted a tackle in the first round since Jeff Otah in 2008. That's insane.
  24. Sorry that was worded terribly. He was the best in college football from a clean pocket and the Panthers offensive line is not going to provide him with a clean pocket very often. If you want to draft a pocket passer, invest in the offensive line first so you can create a clean pocket more often than not. Then worry about drafting a guy who is really good from a clean pocket. People want to discredit Willis as a QB and then talk about how accurate Pickett is yet Willis was a better QB under pressure and Pickett was better from a clean pocket. I’m basing this off of the PFF stats you quoted on the first page of this thread. I don’t like any of the QBs in this draft which is why I keep saying the Panthers should be all in on a LT at 6. Build a legit offensive line then worry about drafting a QB.
