  1. Lol bad throw by Bryce. Missed an easy TD.
  2. They finally did it. Swapped out Bryce for a QB sneak lmao. What a fuging joke.
  3. Even if Kyler was still on his rookie deal it would be a no. I don’t think Kyler gives two shits about football.
  4. Drafting a Rookie QB allows you to pay the guys on the team around him before you have to spend a huge chunk of the cap on said QB. Stop trading good players for picks and start drafting better. If Fitt or any other GM can’t build a competent team with a QB on a rookie contract they have no business being a NFL GM.
  5. Sorry should have specified it was MY biggest takeaway. I’ve watched all 3 QB School videos so far and there is evidence of this in every one. Just so happens JT goes into detail about it specifically in this most recent video. When teams are practically begging you to beat them deep whether it’s single man 1v1 coverage or leaving no safety help over the top you have to make the defense pay. It’s the only way you will get teams to respect you and not crowd the line of scrimmage every play.
  6. Be nice if they gave CJ Henderson the benefit of the doubt like that every once in a while lol.
  7. Biggest takeaway is that Bryce is not making the correct decisions based on the defensive sets he is looking at. There were a few plays he goes into detail about Bryce needing to know what his first read should be based off the look the defense is showing him and not what the actual first read the play call asks for. Ignoring an entire side of the field even when the defense is begging you to throw that way when you are supposed to be a mental maestro is a pretty big red flag. @7:25 is a major example of this that he goes into detail about.
  8. Correct me if I am miss remembering but did it come out that Nicole pushed for the team to draft Chuba Hubbard because she liked his name? Edit: Sorry it was Rhule’s wife not Teppers. https://www.nbcsports.com/nfl/profootballtalk/rumor-mill/news/matt-rhules-wife-pushed-for-panthers-to-draft-chuba-hubbard#:~:text=Rhule says his wife Julie, her pitch didn't hurt.
  9. They should be hosting multiple guards a week at this point. Collins, Fluker idgaf. We have zero depth if we lose another guard.
  10. Was literally about to post this same article as I remember when it came out. Basically management came out and said she had completed the training/course right before the interviews started but the league hadn’t received the paperwork notifying them of completion yet or something along those lines and the Panthers were almost fined because of it.
  11. No one may know the exact details but the question of why she is involved whatsoever is still valid. Do you think she was sitting in at board meetings with him at Appaloosa Management?
  12. Wasn’t DJ Fluker attempting to make a comeback this offseason? Feel like I remember him being at the Alabama pro day.
  13. Hahaha true. I mean does he not realize the team he used to play for fuging booed Santa Claus.
  14. I noticed RAS score being mentioned a bunch this past draft and it seems like Fitt and co referenced it when talking about a couple of our own draft picks. It’s not a new scoring system but I don’t think I had ever even heard of it 5+ years ago.
  15. You almost always hear the debate that rookie QBs should sit and learn the NFL game because it is incredibly hard to succeed on physical talent alone. Bryce Young was highly touted because of his mental acumen while a guy like Anthony Richardson skyrocketed up draft boards due to his insane physical traits for a QB. We were all told and sold on the idea that Bryce was leaps and bounds ahead of most rookie QBs in the mental side of the game and one of the smartest QBs to ever come out in the draft. It’s the reason we were told we traded up for him because he would be a plug and play starter who would only get better the more he plays. Unfortunately his physical talent has not translated well to the NFL. It’s all fine and dandy if you can process multiple scenarios and outcomes in your head in seconds but what good does that do you if you can’t physically execute half of it. It’s the reason NFL teams will usually take huge risks on insanely physical freaks and usually not on physically limited, highly intelligent players. You can teach a player the game but you can’t teach size, speed, and strength. Cam Newton was a physical freak who also dominated college football and was still not a unanimous number one overall pick because people were worried he would not be able to process and learn an NFL offense. That’s why a guy like Blaine Gabbert was in the conversation to go number one overall. That’s all ancient history at this point and we all saw how that turned out. Rarely do you have a prospect like an Andrew Luck or Trevor Lawrence that has the combination of both mental and physical talent that most agree are can’t miss, once in a generation type players. Is the NFL shifting to physical talent being more important than the mental side of things, especially for QBs?
  16. Offense is limited due to Bryce’s physical shortcomings imo.
  17. Wasn’t even going to go there since he was already asking for time stamps
  18. If that ball wasn’t under thrown it was an easy TD.
  19. I haven’t seen the All 22 for this game but I’d be willing to bet there were more than 2 plays where a player is running a deep route.
  20. I can but I was making a comment based on the majority of this thread talking about his inability to connect on deep balls and you brought up completions of 10 or more yards. 10+ yard throws are not considered deep passes but 15/20+ yard throws are and he only attempted 2 of those out of 32 total passes. Can you not see how that’s an issue?
