welcome to the discusion. dont worry i wont hold your tardiness against you. i know you probably arent the lazy bum your timing clearly says you are.
-
study your playbook, help out a teammate, or by all means go out early if he has nothing better to do. but for the love of smitty, don't do it because you think it shows youre better than the next guy. it doesnt.
-
that's because we're talking about the post of being early! wtf. it's nonsense and shouldn't even be a factor. it's literally just a wankfest fans to see who has the lunchiest lunch pail, bluest blue collar, suckiest suck-up mentality. it doesnt matter when discussing who's first on field by a matter of minutes. that's it. nothing to go off of. if one of my reports shows up to an office meeting 15min early, im telling their ass to get back to their desk and answer some emails. no one is impressed by your gimmicks of wannabe leadership.
-
and it gets dumber each time.
-
showing up a little less early by a matter of minutes than the next guy, is not showing "no initiative". that guy couldve been in his locker studying the playbook for all you or the coaches know. it's not an indicator of jack. you could literally decide this by age, injuries, athleticism, potential, cap space. ANYTHING but, "hey this guy showed up on the field 15min early and this guy showed up 10min early". it's a gimmick for rookies to show the fans that care about stupid ish like this. nothing more. you just cant see it.
-
arriving a few minutes earlier than the next guy is by no means whatsoever an indicator for initiative, heart, GUTS, and all that stuff. im sorry but it's nonsense. there are an infinite number of rational and logical ways to make this decision over the quest of being the earliest earlies.
-
you're telling me a guy that arrives 15min early to practice must have more heart and drive than a guy that arrives 10min early to practice? gtfo. please try explaining to the player that's 10min early everyday.
-
Insane. "Whoever is the earliest early bird gets the spot!" Please God don't let this be the Panthers' way.
-
"late" no is showing up late here. it's literally a few minutes. it's gimmicky bs that only the fans care about. If coaches actually cared, then every fringe player would be out there sleeping on the field fully dressed and ready to go. "put me in coach!" i would love for them to ask a coach about whether this is a factor in their decision making. if they say yes, you'll see every scrub doing random gimmicky, "im a hard worker" performances left and right. dudes out there cutting the grass and painting lines like theyre rudy.
-
in the unlikely case you can't decide between two players, i'd really hope they would just have it decided by a foot race or three cone. giving it to the guy that puts his pads on and his shoes faster is just asinine to me.
-
no coach ever in history said, "this guys is out on the field 4 minutes ahead of the other, he gets the spot." that's not a reason except amongst fans following tweets from media.
-
i never understood why we care who is out on the field first. what's the point?
-
he could move the team and then instead of being the laughing stock, we can be nothing at all. we've been here before, remember jimmy clausen? that was worse. much worse.

The Panthers are the worst rated team in Madden 23

For the love of God just let me enjoy my optimism for a few minutes. This doom and gloom crap really depresses me. Some of us living sub-par lives only have the hope of a new season for a few months to cling on to here. -
I must have missed the Troy hate. what'd he say?

with the way our defense is looking and if cmc stays healthy, with those stats we'll be 12-5

So get the Johnson & Johnson single shot. It's the old process that doesn't "reprogram your DNA" #doyourresearch

absolute nightmare situation

i don't know about top 10 but not to be considered top 32 is ludicrous. it proves the point that the bias against the panthers is not just in our heads.
