  1. Dude you are missing every point. Enjoy the win. We are fans. Let the players worry about Wednesday. We just dominated game 1. Stop with the pump brakes crap. If they play like ass tmrw, fine but this thread is about last game. Not next game or the following series. Create a new thread about game 2 if you want to bitch about raanta.
  2. This is negative BS^^^^^^ you said it man. This being selfish and trying to bring the board and team down.
  3. Whatever man. This whole boards on a massive high after dominating game one and you come on here with your negativity about pump the brakes this pump the brakes that. fug that this is a total team effort last night! We kicked their ass. In the post game Rod had nothing but praise For Raanta. What makes you think you know more than that guy?
  4. Same guy yesterday that was a complete negative Nancy. He makes douche powder look like sugar compared to how negative he is. It’s annoying.
  5. Do you remember yesterday when I told you you’re the most negative canes fan I know? You’re insufferable. You’ll find the Darkside on anything in life it sounds like. Get the fug out of here. The most negative human being on the face of the earth I would imagine. You don’t comment on the game at all yesterday and first thing this morning is negativity. We crushed it yesterday. Raanta crushed it yesterday. Enjoy it or shut the fug up.
  6. Pretty sure those people that were worried about raanta just had everything answered tonight. He flopped it on the table wiggled it and said not today.
  7. This place came unglued. 3rd period our period. Finish strong.
  8. Raanta playing lights out. This is the type of game that goes well for the canes. Grind it till they wear down. Boston shot their load early then you could see that canes style of play started to take over. Outside of poor officiating, I like what I’m seeing.
  9. Id rather have Domi over KK in the middle but playoff KK is a man. So I digress.
  10. Right on! My whole family was Navy. Minus me… Sports scholarship to go to college. All four uncles both grandfathers served in Korea.
  11. The greatest experience I’ve ever had as far as sheer loudness and people was seeing Metallica at PNC in 2019. Nothing has come close to that for me. A Stanley Cup win however would change that
  12. Look at the this way. Ranta plays like ass tonight, we will prob get Pyotr until Anderson is ready. However, if raanta balls out, it’s a win. Let’s hope we get the Raanta from when we played Colorado earlier in the year. Let’s rally behind Raanta like the team will and hope for the best.
  13. I’ll be there tonight and Wednesday! Last years playoff games were loud and no one sat down. Hoping for the same tonight! I want an absolute ass whooping on the bruins. First goal sets the tone.
  14. From the Canes FB page. RALEIGH, NC. - Exactly 200 days after beginning their regular season journey, the Carolina Hurricanes start their postseason run Monday. When: Monday, May 2, 7 p.m. EST Watch: Bally Sports South, Bally Sports App, ESPN Listen: 99.9 The Fan, Hurricanes.com/Listen, Hurricanes App ROUND ONE PREVIEW: CANES VS. BRUINS Canes Regular Season Record: 54-20-8 (#1 Seed - Metropolitan Division) Canes Last Regular Season Game: 6-3 Win over the New Jersey Devils on Thursday, April 28. Bruins Regular Season Record: 51-26-5 (#1 Wild Card) Bruins Last Regular Season Game: 5-2 Loss to the Toronto Maple Leafs on Friday, April 29. Head-To-Head Regular Season Meetings: Thursday, October 28: Frederik Andersenrecords his first shutout as a member of the Canes, Carolina advances to 6-0-0. Tuesday, January 18: Carolina scores five in the first period, guiding their way to a 7-1 victory. Tuesday, February 10: Andersen records another shutout as the Canes complete the season sweep of the Bruins, 6-0. THE QUICK HITS: Comin' In Hot: The Canes won their last six regular season games, surging into postseason play. Perhaps what makes it most impressive is that they haven't had their ace netminder, Frederik Andersen, for any of the six. Andersen Update: Andersen was ruled out for Game One of the series on Sunday by head coach Rod Brind'Amour. The reigning Jack Adams Award winner said that the goaltender did touch the ice, a significant step forward after being out of action since Saturday, April 16, when he left the game vs. Colorado in the third period with a lower-body injury. Opportunity Knocks: With Andersen out, one of either Antti Raanta or Pyotr Kochetkov will start in net tonight for Carolina. While Raanta has played in five playoff games over the course of his career, he did not start any of them. As for Kochetkov, he has three total games of NHL experience to his name, all coming within the last 10 days. Making A First Impression: Rookie Seth Jarvisenters his first Stanley Cup Playoffs on a career-long seven-game point streak. With three goals and four assists dating back to April 16, the right-handed forward has taken his play to a new level since coming back from a stint of being healthy scratched in March. No first-year player in the NHL has more points since March 6 than Jarvis, who has 21 points in 24 games. Brady's Bunch: Jarvis isn't the only Canes player to end the regular season scorching, as Brady Skjeialso had six points in six games to round out the 82-game schedule. One of just two players to play in all 82 for Carolina, the defenseman has been one of the best point-producing defenseman in the NHL since the calendar flipped to 2022. Starting January 1, only Roman Josi and Cale Makar have more even strength points (32) than Skjei. Playing The Full 60: The Canes finished the regular season with a league-best +45 goal differential in the third period. Get The First One: Boston scored the game-opening goal in 49 of their 82 games this year. They won 37 of them. One of only three teams better than them? Carolina, who also scored first in 49/82, winning 39. A Look At The Other Side: Since the last two teams met on February 10, Boston has accumulated 52 points, fifth best in the entire National Hockey League. Prior to Friday's loss in Toronto in which the team sat the majority of their star players, the Bruins had won four in a row, including wins over Florida and the New York Rangers. The usual suspects have gotten hot for Boston, with Patrice Bergeron having nine points in his last three games, Brad Marchand having seven points in his last four games and David Pastrnak having six points in his last three games. ADDITIONAL NOTES: What Are We Wearing?: The Canes will be wearing their black sweaters for all home games in the 2022 Stanley Cup Playoffs. More Milestones: Jaccob Slavin is just two points shy of passing Dave Babych for the most points by a defenseman in franchise postseason history.
  15. Horseshit. You complain about our goal scorers over and over. You post was about me and some other poster fuging eachother because you can’t handle our system of non 50 goal scorers. Don’t defer or switch reasons.
  16. Dude. Why are you here if you are going to be negative the whole time? Just leave already. No one gives a poo anymore man. The team is a 1 seed in the playoffs. What more can you want? Aho Jarvis Svech Nino Turbo Tro Anderson Raanta he’ll even Pyotr to be 50 goal scorers?? STFU and just move on already. This group is ready to rock n roll tonight. Not hearing bottom dweller simps bitching about our team. Go to the panthers forum. Go to the hornets forum. Hell go to other teams forum. I don’t care. Just not here. You are acting like flys on my food. Annoying. Please see yourself out.
  17. Will downtown Raleigh have the outdoor big screen street blocked off on Glenwood South for games? They didn’t it in 2019 and it was awesome.
  18. We had a goal difference of like 17-1 this year playing them. Canes matchup very well.
