Since I played ball, I understand things unlike you Bois. Open it up. Screens. Stretch plays. It’s all short conservative passes. Short pass plays over and over and over annnnd over keep everyone in the box. I’ve said it since day one. Canalas ain’t it. -
Robinson - Aho - Jarvis Svechnikov - Kotkaniemi - Necas Martinook - Staal - Carrier/Roslovic Carrier/Roslovic - Jost - Blake rod finally going back to what works…. The goalie issue scares me but we finally get the lines we want.

We haven’t had a forward score a 5 on 5 goal in like 3-4 games. It’s wild. Tonight id pay money for a 6-1 forward scoring bonanza kinda win.

I mean this has got to be on Rod. I said it earlier. The guy is good at developing talent but his in game decisions and line changes, couple that with piss poor goalie development is probably the reason this is far as we get with Rod. He doesn’t have the patience to go to the next level. His strengths are what he wants. Defense first from defense and forwards and that’s it. This is as far as we go with Rod. I love Rod but we aren’t going any further with him and his philosophy as a coach. He did his job taking us from garbage to a great team with a culture of pucks on net and defense but this is it. We need someone else to take us to the next level from this point forward.

Rod has been a god send to develop our players to get us this far. Unfortunately, I think this is far as rod can take us. Can’t develop a true goalie with Koochie getting worse. Team flames out every year in the playoffs. Who would be the next Florida Panthers type situation to take us to the next level?
