Rewatched the game this morning. Absolutely the best game I have been to in person. In any sport. Such a good time.

Wow. Woke up this morning still buzzing. The traffic parking and ADA accessible were major issues. That stadium is not easy for handicapped folks. With that being said, we had 57k people watching a hockey game together. That in itself is amazing. Crowd was on fire. NC State is my family’s team(I’m App State) but I love how they incorporated NC STATE into the canes. From the band(boy that was cool) to the fly over. This city loves this team and after last night, the NHL is on notice. My 3 stars of the game. 1. KK. THAT was easily his best as a hurricane on the biggest stage. 1 goal. 3 assist. Wow. 2. Freddie. Outside of getting bored and letting in that one softie. Dude literally stood on his head a few times. Can Ward esc and he had an assist! 3. Rod. I know I know. How can a coach get it? He had those boys playing loose. Fast and physical and disciplined. WE dictated that game. all and all great time. Caps had no shot from when the dog dropped the puck to when the caps tried going goon squad on us. next up…the blues on Tuesday!

Everything the Canes have done has been better than the Panthers.

Honestly the happiest I’ve been as a canes fans since the cup win. What a great day. Next stop…playoffs.

It’s major game day y’all! Lots of good energy early. House of Hops off glenwood is having their annual chili cook off, which is essentially their Super Bowl each year. Going to be a great time there. I may actually crack open a Gameday Beverage here in a second. @Stumpygoing to need your gif game strong today.

It would be cool to have a Huddle tailgate for the Canes at some point. I know there was one for the Panthers but a Canes Huddle tailgate would be cool. ESP now that we have a decent group on here.
