This is funny! I actually met chattys parents last year at the outdoor game. His day looks like a tall white Viking dude. Cool as poo. But his mom was this tiny sweet lady. He had some pretty cool parents that are proud of their son. They love Rod, Tom, and the organization.

Honestly….I’ll be happy with 4 points between Boston NJ and AZ. 5-6 points means we stole lunch money. I don’t have much faith without Koochie and Svech.

Yeah. If Koochie isn’t ready its Martin. Can’t keep trotting raanta out there.

It’s so much fun! I’ve been on it twice over the couple years.

The boys went back to being stagnant. No one rotates. You can’t get that back side if you just stand still. Luckily, it’s just one game. Friday we were 1-1 in the PP. The PK has me more concerned.

What is wrong with KK? This guy looks totally lost out there. Even in our big win steak with AHO Burns Svech playing well, KK had 1 point in December and 1 so far this month.

Orlov getting destroyed by local media for last night. While I stand raanta didn’t play well, I didn’t realize how bad Orlov was. The first goal and the 3rd were squarely on that guy. Both times left his man wide open. For a guy making 7 mill a year, they guy really played poorly.

Yep. But great goalie play allows a team to open it up 200 feet. It’s no coincidence the canes scored at will with Koochie playing .950 hockey over that span. They canes under raanta can’t. As a Hockey person, they have to get goalie play. It’s why they started slow then found their grove and have seem to lost it over these past week. goalie allows you to do everything.

Good news is the ducks are beating the rangers 2-0 and islanders losing 2-1. I don’t feel as bad but raanta in net is a colossal liability. With Koochie, we proved we can beat the best. I don’t hear kooooooooochie chants with raanta in net. Not because he isn’t there, because the canes play a very conservative game to limit the shots on goal. Something the average fan won’t see is the game starts and ends with goalie play. Rod won’t open it up because has goalie play. Thin the islanders a few years ago. They just muddy up the middle. Our goalie play, is and will be the reason we win the cup or not. I pray Koochie stays healthy.

No prob! But do you see a .600 save % as good? That’s get you retire early bad. Canes did everything well this game but stop pucks. Give credit to the wild goalie. They guy was a baller tonight. Our guy was not.

I’ve been prob the biggest raanta supporter on this board over the years. But it’s time. He played well a couple games ago vs St. Louis and we lost. Tonight, dude was bad. Koochie, please come back asap

Of course the last two were but the first three were all on raanta. I know becasue they happened right in front of me. I’ll give him 1 but 3 on 18 shots should get you fired.

But it’s about shots on goal. You can have 19 shots on goal but if 3 go in…. That’s not good.

A good goalie allows you to play faster and aggressive vs tight.

It was an early pull but raanta in the third had a .600 save %. 3 goals on 18 shots. This board has got to stop making excuses for raanta. He is done.

Guys I say it. We are dead in the water with bad goalie play. 45 shots on goal to 19. If Koochie isn’t ready. Play the new guy. Raanta is a nice guy but he is toast. We would have had 65 shots on goal if we trusted our goalie.

This game shows what good goalie play can do.

Canes have outplayed this team all game. Difference. Goalie. That’s it’s. We get some net front action I feel good.
