Mannnnn, I remember this and that would've been the perfect time to sew that shoot but instead a fan got the ball in the stands. Lol
-
Bro, I feel you!! Yes Frank could play calling better but no excuses for Bryce. It's been plenty of opportunities where he should've just let it rip!!
-
Andy did it in Seattle to Chark for sure.
-
I highlighted the moment!! He could've had a free shot. Brady Quinn even mentioned all game how he has a bad tendency to turn his body facing the sideline and basically running into pressure because he has limited everything to 1 side of the field. He did it 3 separate times I know where he could've stepped up and passed or ran for a 1st down.
-
On that double move and pump, let it rip to the back of the endzone. Had he timed it, he could've hit Adam in stride. He is so use to running around, that I think he got shocked at it. He had a window to throw it and it's a do or die moment.
-
Exactly!! His " Elite" anticipation should've let it rip right when the double move n fake occurred.
-
Look at this play and tell me Bryce didn't have a chance to pass it deep for a TD. Yes the play calling could improve but no way you can say he is taking shots that are there. He had Chark 2 separate times but wouldn't let it go too. https://x.com/SeifertESPN/status/1708842144146784613?s=20

This is it!!! You don't trade the house for a QB with that many limitations. It's the main reason his size generally get drafted in round 3 or so. The risk isn't as magnified. The biggest reason anti- Bryce guys are speaking up, is because of the ridicule if you thought another QB was better. So many people named dragged bc they liked Stroud or Richardson and yet here we are with our savior in week 4 crying on the sidelines.
-
You'd still think that Bryce skill of reading defenses and accuracy would show more than he has. I know he has talent but if anything, you'd expect the other 2 to struggle a lil more because they were the ones they said couldn't learn the playbook and etc. I see your logic but Bryce needs to take shots too.
-
The Jets had bad luck with Qbs but they sure gave Zach 1 year... so the key is seeing something... like Tua showed enough to warrant. Bryce so far looks like he needs to sit a year and it's depressing bc the dude was supposed to be the most plug n play qb available by everyone(media) and a ton of our fans. Nobody can say Stroud is in a great scenario. His weapons are barely ok and his oline is garbage but he consistently has shown the ability to go through reads and evade sacks. Ironically that was supposed to be Bryces skill.
-
Also Cam rookie year was the lockout year where practicing was nowhere near the standard going into the season. I think they didn't get to practice normally until a couple of weeks before week 1.
-
I thought about that logic honestly!! I think they'd do that bc they wouldn't be investing all on one side. You may be right tho but 1 things for sure, Burrow is not looking like the next Brady right now. They should go more run based until he gets right.
-
On a couple of the sacks, Chark was streaking with no safety help but he would turn his body to the left and run right into pressure. He refused to just let it rip. His confidence is shot and we are in a confusing conflict. Sit him with the hopes of salvaging his mental and letting him develop or play him for the rest of the season and if he doesn't improve, trade him. Can't be stubborn if no development happens. Right now his trajectory is Teddy Bridgewater. Maybe if we add talent like Miami, his style becomes more salvageable but this is tough to watch weekly. Especially after watching Dalton fight in Seattle last week.

Evero coached out of his mind today and should be the HC
Lurk21 replied to hepcat's topic in Carolina Panthers
Our run down would be better if the offense could actually do something. Evero seems like the true mastermind on the staff. With all of your secondary depleted, you have to drop more people back. In am ideal world, Horn would shut down 1 side of the field. No way anyone can hate on Everos scheme. Matos is showing signs. I think it's time to activate Barno and DJ Johnson and trade Burns. Develop our young guys. -
Bro, this is by far the funniest comment this year!! Lol Crazy thing is, it's actually true!!
-
I see Tee Higgins and their 2nd making sense. Bengals will have a high 2nd like us. That'd give us at least 2 high 2nds next year. Week 4 and we already got to talk about the draft. Pour me a drink.

All we hear is that Frank is allowing Bryce to do everything in the playbook. Bryce is making audibles on 1st down consistently from a passing set to a run up the middle. Bryce called a meeting and detailed all the protections. Well if he is doing all that, I don't see Frank babysitting him. It's the complete opposite. Frank is bad but I'm not making excuses for a ton of decisions that I see Bryce make, when his ELITE talent is supposed to be processing.

This is what killed me from so many ppl. If you liked Stroud, you didn't know anything and were a Bryce hater. Yet, everyone that liked Stroud, was sill gonna support Bryce. Bryce has too many limitations to move all the way up and get and look this timid. Yes the play calling sucks and oline tripping but Bryce has audibles out of plenty of plays that were clearly passing plays on 1st down. Dalton should be starting and if Bruce don't show anything by the end of the year, that 1st pick in round 2 could be used if a qb is falling or we get another in 2025.
-
I'm thinking he is our trade chip for the wr etc.
-
I was one of those who wanted Stroud but was going to root for Bryce regardless! I'm having a hard time trying to understand how Andy had that many yards in Seattle vs a very hostile environment, yet Bryce is at 57 yards at home with no crowd noise. Hopefully the staff makes adjustments but we traded up to get this cerebral guy and his skillset has yet to show up.
-
Burns for Waddle.... They need defense and we need offense. They dropped 70 without him and logistics could come into play long term. I feel you tho, he is young and still ascending.
-
I'd trade something for Waddle. Seeing how they operate well without him, we could definitely use his speed and playmaking. We definitely have to add 2 players that can get it n go.
-
Really aren't but Dalton is not timid in giving the wr a shot at the ball. I really think Bates got into his head a lil. He needs to sit fr.
-
I remember his face smirking when he mentioned how we haven't even showed our playbook yet during that preseason 2nd week loss. Then remembering what you just posted too and he looks like a dang fool right now. Time to recoup those picks. Bye to Burns and Chinn and find some speedy talented wrs like Miami did Tua.
-
This should show Bryce that the wr doesn't have to be wide open to pass it.
