What are the chances Burns gets traded before the trade deadline?
Lurk21 replied to CamWhoaaCam's topic in Carolina Panthers
Looking at how Detroit couldn't stop nobody, I could definitely see us trying to trade Burns(and another piece) for their 1st and Jameson. We did work on Jameson coming out and it'd give Bryce someone he has a connection with. Almost like Tua n Waddle. I saw someone mention Metcalf and That'd be the other move they have to consider. Him and Carroll aren't on the same page and that'd give Carolina a lineup of Metcalf Theilen and Jameson at wr. Mingo can slowly develop. Id assume our 2nd next year would be valuable but not sure what else. Maybe Chinn or Jackson. -
That's what I was saying. Swapping out Burns for Moore. We dropped the ball regardless.

Detroit would be 1 team I look at but we definitely missed out on trading him 2 separate times already. To the Rams and to move up for Bryce. We could've possibly kept our 1st next year by including him.
-
49ers done ran McCaffrey into the ground and DJ cursed woth a qb injury on the other side if things. At least we won't have to see them making our season worse.
-
This is what I thought...
-
The only connection I see is remembering the Saints were high on him as all LSU players have been heavily vetted by the saints over the years. Therefore Sean and his ego may see something.
-
All things considered, he went to Atlanta and had them there to win. Bates destroyed Young in that game.
-
Oline too but we definitely need some guys with more speed/route running
-
I think he may be but our situation was more suited for Cj. Stroud needs a Miami scenario to be right and that's why we shouldn't of drafted him. Now they have to get creative to surround him.
-
Man, Stroud is making this look bad weekly. He has been everything Josh said pre-draft and all the naysayers were saying he was no good. I gave Bryce a chance but its just so many limitations he has, that made that big of a trade a risk. Stroud set the rookie record of 177 passes without an interception too.

This all falls on Tepper. He was gonna kill us for Russell Wilson, then Watson and he couldn't help it and had to have Bryce(told him at the Super Bowp basically) and has run us into straight irrelevance. Then he has the nerve to allow his wife to be his outlet in decisions thar should've been discussed with an outside consultant. This is just a train wreck and his ego won't allow him to admit it.

Can't even blame Frank on that one....Bryce just ain't it
-
Bro, I been sipping and it got sent to me... I never post without checking. Hell, I barely post period... you bugging but life goes on.
-
Oh ok... well close this one up somebody lol
-
I recall somebody saying he'd stay but after this, I'd say him for Burns chances went up possibly.... Especially with Tepper wanting a wr now.
-
Oh I know lol. Just tired of seeing the people we trade blow up. Lol we definitely need to improve asap!!
-
Welp, with Chicago's win, our pick is officially Caleb Williams... I mean 1st.

Kyle Bailey says Tepper isnt happy, wants changes now.

Regardless of how any of us feel about the qbs, I'm sure him hearing about Stroud is eating up his ego bad. That's why those reports of a wrare getting stronger. -
Oh yeah I agree. My point is that we can't expect Bryce to have perfect scenarios to make those throws. He was drafted number 1 to do just that. He was supposed to be a timing thrower and that was the perfect time to show that skill. The redzone is the toughest for a reason... that look was there for the taking.
-
Yeah its all a mess honestly. Trade up to get the 1 qb who had the most limitations and force him out there. We do need to see Bryce but so far he has shown nothing to merit being selected number 1 overall. It's early and guys like Tua and Trevor have improved but neither had as many limitations. Scott said plug n play... so they got to live with it for right now.
-
Zach Wilson did it last night in tighter coverage 2 times!!
-
When Thielen waved his hand, Bryce should've been already launching the ball towards the bottom of the H and E. If he could make that throw with zip, it'd been money. The NFL shows you that you can't just wait for WRs to be 5 yards apart from the DB.

I've mentioned that myself and I truly believe it. Another reason he should've sat until probably the bye at least to watch Andy. He still needs to play this year, so we can see progress but they seriously should've held him out a couple more weeks. I seriously believe with Dalton we would've been 3-1 going to Detroit/Miami and worse case you looking 3-3 going into the bye. Itd gave him another week to study etc but nope, had to rush him back out there.
