When he gets cut... if they do... I definitely think he could come for cheap ...
-
Yes it was bad coverages and we are talking about an udfa. I was merely saying that some skillsets(plucking the ball with his hands and contested catches) showed up. His background (I linked an article above the video) tells how he started out a wr in high school and was used as a tight end and grew at North Dakota. When trying to find footage of udfas, you have to do more written background research often. Like I said, not saying what he will become but he has tools and interested to see how he does during the offseason.

2 players that definitely flashed a ton to me.
-
I concur.... the talent and work ethic is there!
-
Competition was definitely not elite but the traits to pluck the ball off ground and catch over people is still impressive. I get your logic tho, it's why I'm not crowning him but would like to see if he develops through offseason. His biggest bonus is pairing. I say that because he will most likely be getting reps with Corral. With that being the case, he will definitely be on the staff radar if those 2 connect and etc during practice.

Definitely has a shot!! The size n skill in both passing and Blocking is more in line than either of those 2(mainly special teams only)

The savior himself....

Ready to see the Confidential for this year...

Good writeup and I'm cautious but I can definitely sense the kid may bring a spark. I was skeptical on him during the draft process because I felt he had a Jay Cutler vibe. The more I dug into stuff, the more I realized he has an infectious presence. We shall see. We can only hope in hindsight that he becomes a fraction of Joe.

Yeah, I read that and it's gonna be an interesting offseason for sure. A key thing to watch is the teams as they get eliminated from playoffs. We will more than likely make a trade with one of these teams and Utah is definitely a team to watch. Nurkic is a guy to watch too.
-
Dang, I missed that signing. Thanks bro

Good listen as always @ellis

I think we add one of Rashawn Green/ Clowney and possibly another dt. Torrey Smith was on Good Morning Football and said he thinks Brandon Smith is a guy to watch for. I honestly think Littleton can be good if the defensive tackles can hold up. Im not saying top defense but a possible upgrade over last year.
-
That definitely is true and the guy is a pure hands catcher. He plucked the ball on most catches. North Dakota passed to Christian Watson a bunch and Trey Lance ran a bunch last year. I'd like to see if it's more to his game. If not, it is an udfa signing....
-
It's been 4 plus years and the guy has shown very limited anything in the passing game. We drafted Tommy bc im sure they would like to see someone bc a complete tight end. If Ian surprisingly ( yes surprisingly) does well, it's a win win.
-
Yeah, it seems he was sneaking out and was used mostly as a run blocker. They schemed that up and took advantage of that. Tight end is always a tricky position to see if it will stick because often tight ends in college that turn good in pros, have limited reps catching in college.
-
Yep, it's just interesting to see if anything pops. Myles Hartfield came out of nowhere and a few other udfa have. I'd be intersed to see if these guys are someone that Scott and Dan liked more.
-
Yeah I know it is definitely tough (as udfa) but like I just posted, the dynamics of Corrall more than likely starting off with reps with him... bodes well for him to get some looks early in otas and etc. Like you, I hope he gets a true shot.
-
No doubt the skill and talent is there. He will more than likely get to get reps with Corrall in otas and etc, so I think he may get some looks. No problem bro!!!

I want to start by saying I still got hope in Tommy Tremble and not much hype on Ian at all. With that being said, looking into undrafted free agent Josh Babicz has me very curious of his potential. His background shows that he started out as a pass weapon in high school but he got bigger and stronger in college. Standing at 6'6 255 and with true break away football speed, the potential is there. Mcadoo is known for wanting to use tight ends and this dude and Tremble have extreme upside to me. https://www.profootballnetwork.com/north-dakota-state-tight-end-josh-babicz-bringing-bison-pride-to-the-2022-nfl-draft/

I was hoping Ham if we couldnt land Jackson or Mike Brown. -
I'd like Marc but Darvin Ham and Mike Brown are on my list too.

Very detailed read....

Ben made that interesting remark way back about loving the Qbs with RPO and then says Matt is the highest rated in tgus draft. With all 3 qbs currently starting a new playback and Matt being the future... there is no reason for them to not cater to what Matt does well. Nobody has a leg up because they all starting from scratch. Rhule may have no choice but play Matt.
