Is Baker an average NFL QB? Yes.
Is an average QB a huge positional upgrade for this organization? Also yes.
With the OL upgrades and hopefully a healthy CMC, I'm excited.
Honestly I would pick up either him, Winston or Minshew. But I like the idea of Mariota because I think his mobility would be effective behind our new OL. Read option game with CMC/Hubbard would be effective. RPO game with our receiving core would be effective.
I am 100% down for trading back in the 1st. Except not to draft Ridder. There's another QB who is flying under radars because his team underperformed, but he's a future star in the NFL.
Sam Howell.
Armstead would be great at not only protecting the QB, but setting the edge on run plays. CMC would have massive lanes caused by him and Moton on the edges of that OL
Stoked for this signing, didn't know if this was mentioned earlier but he was Baltimore's Walter Payton MOY candidate the last two seasons. Mauler on the field, great person off the field.
Great signing Fitt
The past can only predict the future. He could have a healthy season getting off of that New Orleans turf.
Personally I'm okay either signing Armstead, or drafting Neal/Cross at 6. If you sign Armstead you could draft a defensive piece like Sauce Gardner or Nakobe Dean. Plus his leadership would really solidify that OL.
Dude what do you want Fitt to do? Sit on his hands and not try to improve the team? Yes we missed out on Watson, but the OL has been improved and he's doing what he can. If you want to be so negative why don't you join the Saints fanbase or something smh
