This is just false from so many perspectives and I despise Duke with a passion. It's easily the best place to watch a CBB game in the entire country. I've been to over 20 games there and it never gets old. Including the UNC vs Duke game this year. Plus, the Zion Williamson shoe game. UNC's arena is atrocious now. It never sells out unless it's Duke and it's too, damn, big. Old Carmichael was better than that. Duke remodeled around the arena completely by the way. Including the football stadium. I know you guys hate them, but you gotta stop lying.

I find it intriguing that NC State fans, and Wake Forest fans actively root against UNC. Even though Duke has stomped them out for years now. Very strange.

The refs kept Duke in that game, because Duke shot 60% from the FT line. Roach was a non factor after being a factor all Tournament long. And lastly shot 22% from 3.

Asheville is our favorite city to visit in NC. Wilmington's downtown area sucks now compared to when I was growing up down there. Durham has built itself up. Not sure you've been here enough to think that.

Oh, I know. They tore down the bank in the middle of downtown, and are building a multi million dollar condo place next to Bull McCabe's. My house here in Durham is worth 100% more than we bought it. I hate it's getting like this, but it's getting like this everywhere.

If you're ever on 15-501 between Durham/Chapel Hill try out this place called Naamu by the way for dinner. Good Korean BBQ, plus a good brew.

I know the Durham Realty head guy and he said Duke started putting in the money for Durham. Mostly because Duke would try to get some big wigs to come work for them in the late 90's/early 2000's and their wifes would drive around town to get to know Durham. Then comeback and tell their husbands this place is trash. We're not living here. Duke has invested a ton of money to make sure Durham is never like that again. Hence the reason it's better than Chapel Hill. I love Durham, I used to love Chapel Hill. Just isn't what it used to be.

They tore down the old shops that used to be on Franklin and put a high rise expensive apartment complex with a Target at the bottom. I want to say 5 years ago. That's when I said yeah, this place has gotten stale. They still do have 411 which I enjoy on rare occasion, but the food isn't what it used to be. They even got rid of one of my favorite NC burger spots in 2019 before the pandemic. Spanky's closing down really aggravated me.
