    Penny has 28 career receptions. Sanders averages 30 per season. So no, Penny is far less of a receiver than even Sanders.

    Yeah, I haven't seen anyone suggest he would be playing early. Most are saying if he contributed anything late this season it would be a win

    Non of that is relevant to my point though. I'm not saying he's worth being traded for based on his year on the Panthers. I'm suggesting that he may be more like his career average and a contender might need vet rotational piece and some deal could be made that's any tiny bit better than just dumping him.
