I won't be surprised to see him waived. I believe they are giving him every opportunity but he probably hasn't shown enough considering he wasn't their project.
-
He was set back by injury. Period.
-
No way to say he doesn't fit a scheme we haven't seen yet.
-
Thank goodness they played him. That was very much needed.
-
I believe he was saying preseason Vegas win totals were an accurate prediction not how money is placed. Betters try to make money going against the grain.
-
I'm not worried. Possibly concerned.

dude is talking about firing coaches in the first preseason Reason

Being a pessimist without having any facts isn't reason.

Its just blathering with no attempt at gaining perspective.

Young starters are playing in the preseason finally league wide Stroud is playing, Pickett expected to play Richardson expected to play Purdy expected to play Lawrence expected to olay

Media, stop trying to get coaches to throw their players under the bus for your clickbait. It's not going to work. You only annoy the fug out of them which gets you shut out from ever getting interesting answers. You are shooting yourselves in the foot.

Unpopular and not serious take: Rookie QB shouldn't be leading meeting on new protection scheme. *duck and cover*
-
Depth is great but how many teams are deep enough not to suffer when they lose starters?
-
this makes even less sense
-
So they are rebuilding the roster..
-
uhhhh no
-
Probably not the position our staff is interested in trading anything for now. Likely pretty low on the list.
-
Cards fans don't miss him at all base on quick scan of forums.

I honestly believe people got way to excited about Young being some mythical QB who would be so amazing right off the bat that the entire team would be an immediate juggernaut.
-
I heard it stated well on radio by someone I cant remember but who is very level headed with their analysis. When you replace your staff, draft a QB 1, and sign 8 starters you are in a rebuild. No idea how that's not a rebuild.
-
Yeah, he seems to be one of the most important pieces of what they like to do. I don't know why everyone is so eager to trade him off. Nothing would surprise me though.
-
Probably a similar situation for whoever is in that roster spot. I don't have strong feelings either way. They can do as they see fit.
