Our 4-12 season was 4 years before Hurney became GM
-
Good signing. He was one of the top 2 or 3 options for a vet backup. No complaints
-
Faking broken bones is a bold move.

It's too easy for an NBA star to cherry pick their way to championships. It's not particularly impressive
-
It's mind boggling that people are arguing against a veteran backup for a rookie QB
-
It seemed likely to come from one of these
-
Somebody here who was arguing for Young. Can't remember. You don't need to make up obvious falsehoods to bring down one guy to support your preference. They are both good qbs.
-
Somebody the other day said he was a 1 read QB. This certainly puts that to bed
-
People her haven't heard of him because they don't pay much attention to actual games. His signing doesn't mean they don't do other things.
-
Fortunately the people who are in these positions are able to think about and manage more than one need at a time. Asynchronous multitasking a little better than getting stuck on only thinking about a WR

Anthony Ricardson Board Work with Steve Mariucci

Richardson would have looked like a silver spoon if he played in North Dakota. -
Still obviously need a backup.
-
We still need a backup regardless. They do some things beyond just wait to be thrown in. Gabbert might not be an awful vet backup. He's soent time around Brady and I'm sure there's something he has learned about mindset and preparation that he can pass on. He's clearly in the backup zone

https://www.spotrac.com/nfl/free-agents/ufa/quarterback/available/ Brissett, Flacco, Dalton, Heinecke, Minshew. One of the first 3 for being veterans would be preferred

I know he was considered a NT in their 4-3 and maybe he's just got the technique and strength to play it in 3-4 but I agree. He does seem to project better to end.
-
Chinn lines up everywhere regardless of his listed position. He was 4th on the team in tackles and tied for 2nd in passes defended despite missing 6 games. If he's listed at linebacker he'll be an off ball linebacker. In ball linebackers are the outside linebackers in a 3-4 who's primary responsibility is to rush the passer. You seem to be confusing off ball/on ball with in the box concepts.
-
You should have another go at that first paragraph if you want to try and make sense. He isn't 230
-
That will happen no matter what they do
-
It's certainly close
-
Could be as simple as he wanted to go

I can't recall a QB not throwing. I'm sure it happens but who? -
I won't be surprised to see YGM traded. I definitely sense more trades.

Sign Briseett, trade down, take two qbs. Be enthralled by the competition. I'm not serious....but that would be seriously interesting to follow.
